Following launch of 4G service, Idea has announced its 4G tariff details for prepaid and postpaid subscribers. Idea is also offering 100% extra data as a special offer. Following the footsteps of Airtel and Vodafone, Idea is also offering 4G in India at 3G prices. Under special promotion subscribers will get double data on all 4G packs above 1GB for a limited time, however even though the core data in these packs is usable on 4G, 3G or 2G data networks, the promotional double data benefit is only usable on Idea 4G LTE network.
As an introductory Offer, Idea is giving one-time offer of 1GB 4G at just Rs. 150. Apart from the above plans Idea also has 4G Trial Packs starting as low as Rs. 29.

Idea is offering free complimentary 4G SIM card upgrade for all customers. Customers can upgrade to 4G Idea SIM by visiting company showrooms and leading retail outlets. Customers can check the coverage and availability of 4G experience zones in their circles and towns through the new 4G section of Idea cellular website.The operator has also said that, existing customers in key non-4G towns will also be able to enjoy Idea’s 4G services while roaming in 4G towns by upgrading to 4G SIM cards from 15th February 2016.
