iBall Slide Q40i with a 7-inch display and Wi-Fi launched in India for Rs. 4,999

iBall has unveiled a Wi-Fi only tablet, named as Slide Q40i for a price of Rs. 4,999. The tablet will be available for purchase in India across retail stores, however, there is no word regarding its online availability.

iBall Slide Q40iThe iBall Slide Q40i comes with a 7-inch display at a resolution of 1024x600 pixels and is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor coupled with 512MB of RAM. It runs Android 4.4 KitKat and has 8GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD card. There is also a feature of wire-free FM with antenna. The connectivity features include 3G (via USB Dongle), Wi-Fi, USB OTG, and Bluetooth. The device is backed by a 2,500 mAh battery.




Commenting on the launch, Sandeep Parasrampuria, Director, iBall said, "iBall Slide Q40i is with amazing five benefit feature to the users right from the power of quad-core processor to the entertainment on HD display and FM wire-free. Not to forget the dual camera included. We are sure this will be excellent for every household to possess one,” he said.
