If apple want to sue Samsung in India they have to give bribe this is why they stayed away …We have no patent law only corruption law …..
Rohan Singh September 9, 2011 at 11:17 pm
Why there is no support for sim card ….Mercury mtab and iball both are good except 3G connectivity and Beetel is best overall but its resistive screen and Reliance is also good but operator locked …So every cheaper tab is incomplete …..So I have decided Lenovo ideapad a1 though it doesn’t have sim support but overall it’s best and Lenovo is a better known brand too and tab will be within Rs 14000 too.

Hey ganesh do u think that some company like apple is gonna bring ban on samsung tab. I really think that ur statement is some a kind of joke ( no offence ). Apple doesnt even have countries like ours on their developement map. It just tries to cash big cows. Thats why they have moved from Germany to Holland. Bcoz they found that apple was doing something fishy. And as holland is in the euro zone the court rules affect the euro market. Have u ever heard that some company has sued some company in India.

I would like to wait for Lenovo ideapad a1. What makes it unique is it’s offline GPS and cheaper too.

In terms of features and value for money this is the best one to buy. Was planning to go for Reliance Tab and use only over wifi but this is good with all features and its unlocked too.
Abhishek Agrawal September 9, 2011 at 7:48 pm
@Ganesh Srinivasan
Very very unlikely that Apple would sue Samsung in India. India does not have strong patent laws and Apple is not even serious about India as a market. And due to India’s Judicial process by the time matter will come up for injunction Galaxy Tab and iPad 2 would have things of the past.

Way to go forward, 7″ tablet with office package for Rs 14,000. It should sell like hot cake. iBall products are generally reliable
In a related development, German court has permanently banned Samsung Germany from selling their 10.1″ tablet due to design copying, in Germany and rest of EU. Readers may remember similar story with Samsung’s 7.7″ tablet. Apple and Samsung are fighting legal battles in other countries too
So if someone wants to buy Samsung Tablet 10.1″ and possess it as a special piece, before the legal battle comes to India – go ahead and buy

Android Gingerbread in for mobile mobile Android honeycomb is for tab
Vikas Patidar September 9, 2011 at 2:11 pm
Google haven’t released the source code of Honeycomb 3.0 except the OHA members otherwise we would have a good chance to see the low cost Android tablets.
