HTC Corporation, a global leader in mobile innovation and design today announced the launch of 3G enabled smartphone HTC Explorer in Indian market for Rs.11650.
Built with the Gingerbread (2.3) version of Android, HTC Explorer features 3.2-inch WVGA display and a powerful 600 MHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 1 processor and 384MB/512MB RAM/ROM.
HTC Explorer also features 3G, Wi-Fi Bluetooth 3.0, GPS, 1230 mAh battery, microSD card slot and 3 megapixel cameras, which can be used to capture both high-quality conventional images and videos. The device will be available from October 1st week and offered in Metallic Black, Active Black, Metallic Navy Active Royal and Metallic Royal.
The device is features HTC Sense UI which offers customizable active lockscreen experience that transforms the lockscreen into a real-time window to the most important information and content, such as social updates, photos, weather or stock updates that are viewed by simply turning on the display.
In addition, the new active lockscreen becomes a customizable gateway that lets people quickly jump to the most used features, like making a phone call, sending an email, taking a picture or anything else with the same quick gesture usually used to unlock the phone.
HTC – Vodafone 3G Data Offer :
HTC has tie-up with leading mobile service provider Vodafone Essar where in its subscribers who buy HTC Explorer will get double 3G data usage benefits on their postpaid plan like 200 MB for Rs 100, 1GB for Rs 375 and 2 GB for Rs 650. The 3G Data Benefits can be activated by sending SMS EXPLORER to 111 from Vodafone.The offer will be valid till December 31st, 2011.

Better than the rubbish Samsung galaxy Fit which has just 65K Colour display making it like a cartoon mobile. This phone has 256k colour display and has 1280mAh battery.
