HTC has announced two new mid-range Android smartphones; the Desire 620 and the Desire 620G. Both the devices feature similar specifications except the processor and cellular connectivity speed. The Desire 620 features a 64-bit quad-core Snapdragon 410 SoC, Adreno 306 GPU, and 4G LTE connectivity, while the Desire 620G features a 32-bit octa-core MediaTek MT6592 processor, Mali-450MP4 GPU, and HSPA+ connectivity.

  • Wi-Fi b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, DLNA, microUSB v2.0 port, and 3.5 mm headphone jack
  • Accelerometer, proximity, gyroscope, GPS with A-GPS, and compass
  • 2,100 mAh battery, 150.1 x 72.7 x 9.6 mm, 160 g

Both the devices will be available in Taiwan starting December 1. The HTC Desire 620 will is priced at an attractive TWD $6,990 (about Rs. 14,000), while the HTC Desire 620G is priced at an even more attractive TWD $4,990 (about Rs. 10,000). There's no word on international availability but considering that the device has dual SIM card slots and an attractive price tag, we are almost sure that it will be launched in India in the coming months.
