Holy crap! This is way too pricey! I will consider HTC only when they reduce their prices atleast on par with Nokia’s phones with similar hardware!

too pricey.airtel should subsidise the cost.

Looks like bit over priced… At 31K we are getting Samsung Galaxy Tab. Then why would one go for this?????

Absolutely right. I too agree with you.
Airtel is just giving GPRS with all latest handset like N8, C5-3, C7 etc.
All mobile companies should ask Airtel to give their mobile is subsidized rate so that there is more sale more people buy if bought with Airtel.
There should be some marketing done on subsidized rate if used with Airtel…

simple iphone equation : In the US for 2 years you spend $99 phone + $99 phone bill= $2500 for 2 years . I India $700 phone+ even Rs 1500 bill pm ($30)= $1400. The indian on an iphone is saving $1000 every 2 years!!

@alamgir
yes like the USA, but that would be Rs 10000 ($199) 0r even $99 for the phone and a two year contract with Rs 4000 ($69)per month for unlimited calling and Rs 750 ($15) for 200MB data 0r Rs 1250 for 2 GB ie Rs 5000 pm ie Rs 1.2 lakhs for 2 years. Is that better? And if you breach the contract you know what happens to your credit history and life in the USA….

Why Airtel is putting its nose into, HTC’s business when it is not offering any subsidized price ? Contrary to what happens in the US and Europe

airtel should consider only non Gprs handsets.
