MTS India, the CDMA mobile service of Sistema Shyam Teleservices Ltd (SSTL), commercially expands its Mobile Broadband Service M-Blaze in the States of Rajasthan.MTS India also announced that its MBlaze data service will comes at India’s lowest tariff just 10 paise per MB with no roaming charges.

The MTS MBlaze EVDO Wireless Broadband Internet Services comes in two options; the Standard Data Card comes at the price point of Rs.2999 with 2GB Free Downloads while the Premium Data Card cost Rs.3499. MTS also introduced attractive Prepaid Data Plans which starts from Rs.198 per month.

According to the new announcement by MTS India, M Blaze subscriber will now be able to use this Pre-Paid service with rates as low as 10p/MB and also can enjoy data service while on move without any roaming charges on Data Services with in the MTS network. Read more…

Vodafone the 2nd largest GSM mobile service provider of India today announced the launch of a new service dubbed as Vodafone Mirchi Callertune service in assocition with Radio Mirchi.

The new Value added service allows Vodafone Postpaid and Preapaid subscribers to download Songs run on the Radio channel and set them as their caller tune. These songs can be used as Caller’s Ring Back Tones and opens a new avenue for revenue generation for the Vodafone Essar as well as the FM radio service provider.

The service is available in 32 cities of the country where Radio Mirchi services are presently operational. LG Electronics a worldwide technology and design leader in mobile communications, today unveiled Vx10000 the high end CDMA mobile phone in India with Reliance Mobile. The Vx10000 looks very similar to HTC mobile phones and the Nokia E90 the communicators but unlike the communicator this will have a 2.8 inch full touch screen display. Idea Cellular today  announced the launch of its 2.75G EDGE enabled GSM network in Assam with this launch idea cellular is in near completion of its pan-India network rollout with presence in 21 telecom circles in India.

IDEA has started an exclusive portal ‘Asomi Aai Rupohi’ in Assamese language for the mobile users in the region. The portal will offer Assamese songs, movie reviews and other rich content targeted at the youth.
