DataWind, the makers of world’s cheapest $35 android Tablet Aakash, today announced the launch of two new improved tablets – Ubislate7+ and Ubislate7C for Rs.2999 and Rs.3999 .
Both the new Android tablets comes with Cortex A8, 700 Mhz Processor with HD Video Co Processor and has same specification except the difference in display quality (resistive and capacitive) and Internal memory.
DataWind’s new Tab Ubislate 7+ runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS, comes with 256 MB RAM, 3.5 mm jack for headset connection, 2 full-sized USB ports are integrated into the unit allowing pen-drives, 2GB internal memory and 32 GB expandable memory slot. It has a 7 inch resistive touchscreen display and has support for GPRS, Voice Calling, Wi-Fi IEEE 802.11 b/g connectivity and includes a microphone and stereo earphones.
The other tab, Ubislate7C has also same specification as Ubislate 7+ the except that it has a 7 inch capacitive touchscreen and 4GB of internal memory.Both tab comes with one year replacement warranty.

i ordered this one and i recieved this within three days ,please dont ever choose china products,they r not working properly ,thers no gaurantee for touch screen ,u have to spend lot for repairing it,its just an useless one.

No Datawind is not serious at all for delivery.They have collected millions of rupees in advance from customers and delaying month to month from Nov/Dec,2011and making lame excuses for delay and his failure by blaming others This launching is only to make us fool as customers were loosing their patience Mr.Tuli is still in search of new manufacturer to tie up manufacturing of Ubislate.When he will tie up and order to new manufacturer and when new manufacturer will manufacture the product and supply.It will take a long time to deliver the product to all.They should stop new bookings and taking advances till they cover back log otherwise it will be another scam

Hope that the company is serious this time around and actually deliver the product rather than making false promises becoz not everyone could afford ipads (and hope that some learned friends don’t appear here & suggest some expensive gadgets). Btw, was not Ubislate or Aakash tablet was launched in Oct or Nov’11 ??
