Loop Mobile, Mumbai’s very own GSM mobile service for last 13 last years has issued a notice to its subscribers regarding applicable calling charge when you call them for enquires.
Earlier TelecomTalk notified about Airtel Kolkata To Charge for Customer Care 121. It seems that now all operators will follow this trend after getting green signal from DoT and TRAI.Loop Mobile’s earlier helplines were 50555 and 50800 will be changed to 198 for service requests and complaints.
Calling to 198 will be treated as toll free but for enquires you have to call 800 which will be charged at 50p/3minutes. This new features will be applicable to applicable to postpaid and prepaid customers from 15th March 2010.

Loop Mobile, Mumbai’s very own GSM mobile service operator introduces three new GPRS packs at Rs.29, Rs.49 and Rs.199 per month dubbed as True-Net service for its prepaid subscribers. Loop Mobile subscribers can use this pack to connect Internet from their mobile and PC using mobile phone as modem. Loop Mobile EDGE-enabled strongest network will deliver mobile Internet connectivity at maximum speed between 144 kbps to 234kbps.
