Idea Cellular to stay away from 700 MHz spectrum

Idea Cellular has said that the company is not looking at the 700 MHz spectrum band for mobile broadband. “We have seen how the 2300 MHz spectrum which was auctioned in 2010 still remains unused as services are yet to be launched on this band. Idea hikes tariff of daily free roaming pack silently

Operators have been offering free daily and monthly roaming incoming packs for approximately Rs 5 and Rs 75 . Later packs with 7 days validity were introduced for the convenience of customers.
