Cheers Mobile - Etisalat DB Suggesting Customers To Port Out From Its Network Before 31st MarchCheers Mobile GSM service of Etisalat DB whose mobile service licenses has been canceled by the Supreme Court under 2G verdict, has advised its customers to transfer their mobile number to another operator using MNP prior to the scheduled suspension of Cheers Mobile services on 31st March,2012.

In a statement posted in its official portal Cheers Mobile / Etisalat DB said “Customers are encouraged to ‘port out’ their Cheers mobile number to a network of their choice as soon as possible (till 31st March,2012) by following the process prescribed by India’s telecommunications regulator the TRAI.

Etisalat DB To Shut Down GSM Operations in IndiaCheers Mobile GSM service of Etisalat DB is all set to windup its India operations according to our sources Cheers Mobile will give 30 days time to its customers to PORT OUT from its service and PORT IN to another operator using Mobile Number Portability (MNP).

Cheers Mobile Network Outage Reliance Cuts The Signal For Non PaymentNow things are getting clear why Cheers Network is down in Pan India NDTV has reported that due to non payment of charges has made Reliance to disconnect the service of  Cheers Mobile.

We also reported earlier that Cheers Mobile went down in Pan India and customers was in a fix and was wondering why the network is down all though customers was told things would be fine in couple of hours, hours went passed and there is no sign of recovery as per official communication  the company cited it was due to a technical issue .

Network Outage Hits Cheers Mobile Customers Pan IndiaThere is lots of confusion happening among Cheers Mobile customers as most of the customers are unable to make or receive calls since Friday evening although we are not sure what is the exact cause of the issue and the customers are still in a fix.

We have been told that the impact has adversely affected Delhi subscribers and things should be back to normal in another couple of hours.
