Consumer durables Major Videocon today announced that in next 100 Days it will be rolling out its commercial GSM mobile services in 100 Cities across India begins from today and expects 10 million subscribers in three to four years of the launch.
In our earlier post we shared Videocon Mobile Services is Expected to Debut In Mumbai On March 07 like we quoted the service will announced today in a popular Hindi TV channel Colors by 7pm with special launch event dubbed as “Dhamake Ka Signal” hosted by Bollywood star Salman Khan, Shahid Kapoor and Shaan.

Consumer Durable King Videocon is all set to Roll-Out its GSM Services commercially in Mumbai from March, 07,2010 with the most competitive tariff, the sim card is Expected to be FREE with a Talk-Time of Rs5.
The SIM-Kits will be available in all the “Planet-M” & “Next” Retail outlets, as it is a part of Videocon Group. As of now Videocon does not have its own Official Mobile Gallery store in Mumbai and may announce it a bit later after the launch.
Most of the Value Added Services including Caller tunes, Call Waiting, Call Forwarding, Call-Conferencing will be straight away launched from the day 1 of the commercial launch. Datacom the GSM Mobile service brand of Videocon Telecommunications Ltd. (VTL) will starts its Mobile Services from Mumbai on February 20. The company aims to cover the entire country within eighteen months.
According to the official statement by the operator “The Company is scheduled to launch its mobile services this month starting with Mumbai circle to be followed by Tamil Nadu and Punjab. It will complete the pan-India GSM roll out in next 18 months”
Datacom which is recently renamed as Videocon Telecommunication Ltd is the subsidiary of consumer durables Major Videocon Group. It was one of the eight new operators who were given UAS licenses for 15 telecom circles in January 2008 to provide Mobile Telecommunications services.
