After an extensive test and trial process, Airtel is deploying the ip.access nanoGSM picocell to deliver valuable extra mobile network coverage and capacity to its business customers, exactly where needed on their premises. Bharti Airtel Ltd has initiated Airtel Kisan Mitra a project reiterating the benefits offered by IFFCO Kisan Sanchar Limited (IKSL), a joint venture of Bharti Airtel Ltd and Indian Farmer Fertilizers Cooperative Limited (IFFCO).
The sole objective of this project is to empower farmers with pertinent information through affordable communication network and friendly technologies.

Bharti Airtel, India’s largest mobile service operator, which has around 60 lakh mobile phone subscribers in Gujarat, witnessed a new trend of VAS downloads in the state.
According to Airtel 50% of VAS download demand comes from Bollywood and in remaining 50%, Bhojpuri is on top with more than 15% while Gujarati downloads could be equal or less.
