Are you mad?? Seems to me like that. And man don’t tell me bsnl follows every rule strictly. Look govt. hasn’t instructed operators to charge 200/6 months. So, it’s upto them.

In terms cust verification bsnl tops than pvt opertr. For eg Aircel guys dont verify customer before giving the sim. I came to know that a retailer without the cust intimation xerox’s the documents and gives the sim to other person. This is happening in kolkata. This doesn’t happen in bsnl.

This is becoz of bsnl emloyees are enjoying muft ki roti and they dont want to do anything they are also not intrested in selling products they want Salary on time if they stand to do something than they do only hunger strike hadtaal for waitan barhao -]
They only know to make waitan barhao Aandolan and nothing except these silly jobs.
While a bechara sim seller and recharge seller hardly earn 100 to 200 rupees to serv his family !
if he go rubbish wit customer like
    than what will he eat
    let his family hungry?

This kind of retailer shud die. Giving sim on somebody else documents is a crime, these kind of retailers shud be imediately sacked. This is a security concern.

stv 101 is good option but its for limited time. This stv shud be permanent. Due to validity issue BSNL lost many customers. On bsnl lifetime is more costly than general.

what type of lifetime does Bsnl have?
In Bsnl anant (lifetime) too, you’d have to do an recharge of 220 or 80 to get the next 180 days lifetime validity. Whereas, in other operators you have to do just an cummulative recharge of 200 in 6 months to retain l.t. validity

in maximum no of operator, you need not to recharge 200 or any amount for lifetime validity.
i have not recharged my one vodafone no from last 1.5 years but connection is still active.i can make calls from that vodafone number

if you are not recharging, how are you making call from that no?is the call free too?then you hit the jackpot.enjoy till it……………..

    Santu Sovan Mandal :
Stv 101 is fine but they have to work on validity issues. No other operators seem to be bothered about validity like bsnl does. Now a days validity should not be any issue.

101 gives 1 year.how much more do you need????????????
and BSNL is a govt organisation.they have to follow the rules strictly.its expected from them.that might be irritating sometimes but rest assured there will be no problem in future.remember when govt asked the operator for strict customer verification, every operator asked to provide details afresh.had you suffered any such problem with BSNL?no because they follwed the rule strictly while giving connection itself.

@amar u r wrong in private operator if u not use there service for 6months they will put ur number out of service that time they will not accept rs.10 topup u have to recharge it with rs.200 whereas in bsnl if u recharge with rs.50 validity goes on increasing automatically as u recharge it for talktime…

STV rates are too high…. but better than Maharashtra circle BSNL.. For 0.30ps/min we have to recharge with Rs.61 STV..

as these plans are available in Kolkata only. Here BSNL has 2 lifetime plans – Rs 50/6months (old anant) & Rs 200/month (new anant).

NEW ANANT IS 200/6 month not 200/month :)

    its 200rs/6months for new anant!

Morever one thing is for sure in bsnl,, that is peace of mind. No wrongly charged calls,, no fake vas activation and no loot of you prepay balance. Yes, sometime bsnl’s service make u feel hopeless…but peace of mind guaranteed. Bsnl is changing frm bhai sahab nahi lagega to best hai mere liye.

You are atleast there is one operator who doesn’t apply the policy of looting customers. I am a customer of BSNL from last four years and I am satisfied with their services and tarrif. And for validity there is STV 52 of Rs.52 with which we get 365 days validity and Rs.10 talktime, no need to go for lifetime option. So BSNL BEST HAI MERE LIYE.

STV 124, 1250 & 101 is very good. STV 43 is not so good & STV 35 is just waste. BSNL should focus on offnet tariff also.

There should be one service area i.e. One India. There should be one base rate for calls i.e. 50p/min for onnet and offnet for all India for every operator. There should be one base rate for SMS i.e. 25p/SMS. There should be one base rate for MMS i.e. 50p/MMS. There should be one base rate for GPRS data i.e. 1p/10kb.
On these base rates operators can offer their rate cutters.
