Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), is all set to launch its 3G operations in 700 cities across north and east India by June and in the south by July.The services would be launched in east and west Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Bihar, Jharkhand and Assam.BSNL plans to cover over 700 cities in the next three months.
BSNL is also targeting its 3G launch in Kolkata next month. The net outflow towards launching this service is estimated for 700 cities will be around Rs 2,700-crore.BSNL, has a huge presence in the northern and eastern parts of India, has 42-million mobile subscribers presently.By Launch of 3G by March 2010, the number of our 3G subscribers is expected to go up to about 60-million in the country .

I think service is very important…..dat is the reason y people buy airtel,vodafone…because of their services…..BSNL wat the hell u r doing………..no services,,,,,after sale service should b there……….u r selling BSNL 3G sim n wat about the setting who will give dis ur customer care support people….but when???????????? after 1 month…….

I bought BSNL 3G Sim,,,,,,but still I didn’t get the settings from customer care….I called so many times…..they said that your complaint has been lodged n sent 2 our technical department n they will solved ur problem within 48 hours……but 48 hours has been over n I still didn’t get the settings…..I don’t know wat kind of services they are providing….my question is that if u r unable to solve the problem then y r u selling the SIM…..wat the hell dey r doing I dont know……BSNL the big name but ultimately it is zero……

3G services of BSNL Calcutta Telecom has kicked off in time but the service is restricted to few pockets at present.But the service would be available sooner to all over Calcutta.Its expected that the intial 3G Service would be coming at a high price which is worthy cause a portion of it is handed over to TRAI as 3G charges.
