India’s leading telecom operator Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has come up with a scheme that will enable their Landline and Mobile subscribers to check call details on the website over the Internet. One just needs to log on to the new website of BSNL to be launched by the state-owned telecom operator soon.
At present, the facility is limited to Mobile Landline phone users of the Kolkata circle of the BSNL. But, the scheme named Call Detail Record (CDR) system will enable both Landline and WLL Mobile subscribers of other circles of BSNL to avail the services.
All subscribers will be provided with a customer identification number (customer Id), which they will have to key in at the appropriate place on the web page.
Within a few minutes details of every call including call duration, numbers dialled, rate of each call and total charge of the calls will be displayed.Call charges would also get adjusted automatically with a change in tariff or any other schemes. Four different cities including Kolkata (at Salt Lake Telephone Exchange), Pune, Chandigarh and Hyderabad have been chosen to start the CDR system.

BSNL’s Customer Care people are acting arbitrarily and sometimes behaving roughly with the customers. Many times charges for subscribing to BSNL’s mobile radio is being deducted from the accounts of customers even though it was not earlier subscribed for. They are not at all listining even after requests from the custromer’s and not returning back the money to the prepaid accounts of the customers. Very unsatisfactory service. All post-paid BSNL customers do get detialed call list against their Cellone numbers from respective circles irrespective of any charges like Rs.50/month..Like We get from Calcutta Telephones against our Cellone numbers detailed call list be it 10 pages or 15 pages every month free of cost…This is being send with every bill every month…If you dont get it write to Divisional Engineer of ur Telecom circle and anybody would get it from next month..

Dear Biswas,I guess that was the call details of outgoing calls to outer LSA like outgoing call deatils of west bengal from Kolkata Phone.
But with new service BSNL subscriber can check all Incoming and outgoing call deatil of Landline/Mobile with perfect time,durations,caller details etc and even customer can check SMS/GPRS data usage deatils of their bsnl mobile phone.Its run directly by the CDR system which is use for making the telecom bills (all the operator using that for their internal use)

dear sanjay, as i am frm kolkata, i am using bsnl’s online service to check my bills n call details (o/g ) for a long time before , but they dnt provide local o/g calls details to bsnl landlines !

If BSNL provide the incoming call details, it is more useful for checking the mobile bills etc.. as all other private BSP are doing X..X in the billing, Only BSNL is true clear Service provider.
