Starting from February 1st, 2012, BSNL Broadband users under plan BB Home ULD 750 and BB Home Combo ULD 750 will get increased 1 Mbps Speed up to 6 GB Data usage and thereafter 512 Kbps for Unlimited usage at same price.

JOMY May 2, 2013 at 9:36 pm
I HAVE 60 KB/S FOR MY 500 UNLIMITED PLAN.IF I TAKE 750 UNLIMITED,HOW MUCH SPEED CAN I GET
sameek kundu April 12, 2013 at 10:22 am
This is a stupid plan it takes only 12 hours to use 6 gb …and for 29.5 days we have to tolerate 512kbps..this is a stupid plan and bsnl sucks for its slow connections.
Pam April 5, 2013 at 10:57 am
howz the tikona performance
ANGAD March 28, 2013 at 10:26 pm
I am using home BSNL combo unlimited 750 plan for the last 12 months. But the speed is not up to the mark i.e. 1 mbps. Whenever i tried to talk with concerned authorities, no body bothers about my grivences. I request not to go for BSNL broadband . Try some other operator.
rehan January 28, 2013 at 9:27 pm
there should be 1mbps permanent… because reliance give 1mbps in 549…. tikona 750 so as bsnl should give
faisal January 30, 2013 at 12:54 pm
hey frnds try the aircel net setter it gives u 8mbps speed with 10 gb data and fup(fair usage policy) applies after 10 gb with rs 999
Sajied January 18, 2013 at 8:23 pm
What would be the bill amount for BSNL ULD 750 for first 2 months ?
Apalok January 1, 2013 at 3:08 pm
The speed goes more or less…it does’t matter here…i still get 50kbps or less….
salgra December 9, 2012 at 10:51 am
750 plan should get 1mbps unlimited for 1 month not 512kbps after 6GB
Alok Niranjan December 1, 2012 at 10:46 am
Valueless,
Make it permanent, Dont be so cheap.
Remo November 25, 2012 at 11:12 am
I think this is a nice plan
Prajna November 24, 2012 at 8:57 pm
its that 750 plan unlimited or there is come hidden charges beyond 6gb
Ramit January 9, 2013 at 10:39 pm
Ya.. it is Unlimited, no hidden cost for usage (upload/download).The only thing is your speed would be capped after 6GB of usage to 512kbps.
pankaj October 26, 2012 at 1:58 pm
how to start wifi connection in my bsnl brdband
Ramit January 9, 2013 at 10:35 pm
You can buy a wi-fi enabled modem to avail wi-fi connecton on bsnl broadband.
Vikas Raj October 11, 2012 at 4:55 pm
I think the 1MBPS speed should be like extended to 20 gb as the standard other plans are.. 6 is like very little even 2g services are now cheap and ppl would hop on to those services instead of preferring BSNL as it takes a lot of stuff to get a connection.
BSNL if u are listening think about it.. why your heading back in comparison to other services…
Shazzam October 4, 2012 at 12:54 pm
Scene looks very backward for India.
Where it is really encouraging to see such a development, i think the speeds should be increased as well. I subscribed to the dataone in 2005, and since then we have gone on only to hit the 1Mbps mark .. that too conditionally..
BSNL should provide 2Mbps connection for 1k, and should make 512 as standard definition of broadband.
frank September 24, 2012 at 3:14 pm
type 192.168.1.1 in adress bar of any internet browser.BSNL broadband page should appear, give admin for both user id and password. Under configuration go to wireless network and type your password in “WPA Pass Phrase:” and click ‘confirm’ a confirmation of same key will be asked in devices connecting to ur wifi @ Mr mahatma
Mr mahatma September 18, 2012 at 2:48 pm
I want to change password of wifi. Give me step detail. Pleaseeeeee
Sajied Ahmed September 8, 2012 at 10:36 pm
Is The current Plan is 1 mbps for 6 GB, or Just 512 kbps Unlimited in Golaghat,Assam. Please Help.
Munish September 6, 2012 at 10:19 pm
I am an old user of BSNL BB. There is a lot of problem with this connection. Speed is not committed that is 1 Mbps, I have never seen it at this speed, it usually fluctuates around 256 to 512. Moreover, it works then it works, but if any problem persists in this BB, nobody responsible person is there to assist you. You will get contact numbers, but of no use, some of them are not replied and some of them are not functioning properly too of BSNL.
in whole, the main thing is that sarkari cheez hai, kisi ko kuch nai lena-dena. If you say i will discontinue this connection, nobody cares….
Old and untrained persons are called technician, they even do not know how to sort out BB connection problems.
Balaram Nayak September 4, 2012 at 10:24 pm
I am connect BBG Combo ULD 850 . After Payment of Rs. 850/- 4-5 days buffering speed show 100 to 200 kbps then it comes buffering 00 to 40 kbps speed which is equivalent as a dongle speed. so I may kindly be request you please give necessary instruction to your authority for rectify this problem.

jayaraj July 11, 2012 at 11:02 pm
I am from Kochi I am using a plan of Home unlimited for Rs.900. Bsnl is assuring a speed of 4 Mbps upto 8 GB and thereafter 512 kbps. But the maximum speed I am getting is only below 200 kbps. And this only for 10 or 15 mts in a day. All other times the speed will be around 1- 40. I have made so many complaints, but the conditions remains the same. action is requested.
Avishek July 11, 2012 at 10:26 am
I m using BB Home Combo UL 625 and its a new connection….everything is ok for an 512KB UL plan theonly thing which plays a spoil sport in this is the FUP… I mean comon man how can u apply FUP on a 512 KB line this should be the bare minimum speed if you wanna grow with rest of the world where min. speed is 2 Mbps in n we dont even have 512Kb as min. speed. I Think BSNL should life up this FUP on low bandwidth speed plans.
pruthvi July 5, 2012 at 6:09 pm
i have 750 ul home combo plan .the revised speed is 1 mbps but i’m getting only 30KBps what should i do? i had called customer care and registered complaint but no use. guide me please.
Anubhav July 2, 2012 at 4:32 pm
@nitin
FIXED RENTAL CHARGES ARE NOT LEVIED, EFFECTIVELY MAKING THE NON-COMBO PLAN ABSOLUTELY REDUNDANT.
Prasenjit June 28, 2012 at 8:51 pm
BSNL KOLKATA should Design a Combo Plan at Rs 500 ( With Tax) 1 MBPS FULL Unlimited with 200 FREE CALL ALL TO ALL MOBILE TO SURVIVE IN Broadband Market which can again bring bsnl to TOP ISP Provider as we all know only BSNL doesnot compromise on Quality.
Aakash dubey June 17, 2012 at 9:12 am
hey its really great….but how can i change a plan ….is it available in Bhopal?
nitin June 15, 2012 at 12:58 pm

ANMOL VERMA March 8, 2012 at 12:41 pm
I think If BSNL Launch this plan fully 1mbps speed then this is best…..way in place of 1MBPS for first 6 Gb……
VADIRAJ February 28, 2012 at 10:13 am
Same here i.m also getting 1 Mbps from 24feb after 6gb too
Hope they will continue this truly unlimited at 1 Mbps..
adsf February 27, 2012 at 4:21 pm
Exact same thing here. I think some technical fault caused it. 1mbps is awesome! 6 GB is approximately equal to zero.
fasd February 27, 2012 at 12:24 pm
Same thing as Safadar whats going on??
Tushar February 26, 2012 at 7:46 pm
from 24-02-12 till afternoon of 26-02-12 i was getting 1 Mbps.but now i am getting 512 kbps.cant guess what bsnl people are doing.
Safdar February 26, 2012 at 7:00 pm
The seem to have upgraded the 750 plan once again.
In the beginning of Feb I got speed of 1mbps till 6 gb. Now from the last 3 days I am getting 1 mbps again.
Pavan February 25, 2012 at 11:18 am
Many are getting double the speed twice this month even after completing 6gb. But my speed is still 512kbps from the starting of this month. I never got my speed increased. Boooo….
arjunKR February 24, 2012 at 2:13 pm
Now I’m getting 1mbps again ie. 2nd time in the same month! how is this possible? did BSNL revised the plan once again?
sowjin February 19, 2012 at 3:54 pm
not in practice frndzzz
Vasanth February 19, 2012 at 1:06 pm
Good upgradation on paper but not in practise…. not constant…. the speed varies considerably…. it goes high upto even 1.34mbps….. n most of the times it s below 512 kbps…. not constant at al…. i even get speed of 0.15 mbps (i.e. 153.6 kbps) which we get using mobile gprs connection…. before this upgrade constantly get speed of 0.50 mbps…. if anyone experience this kind of problem, let me know…
PKM February 19, 2012 at 9:06 am
@Sudhakar
Buddy, nobody has to go anywhere, its technical change which will be applicable to all customers for BB750 UL plans.
U can always check BB speed from speedtest.net to check the download & upload speeds.
I am sure its the best plan available in the market for unlimited usages, although service from BSNL Employees sucks.
Afzal Hussain February 12, 2012 at 10:42 pm
Broadband internet speed is Increased but this plan has created problems in browsing “Problem loading Pages” , pages loading very slow is the problems i am facing after 6 GB and also inside 6GB..
Sudhakar February 12, 2012 at 1:12 pm
To all :
the person in the exchange here says that the plan code for old plan was UL and the code is now changed to ULD. So you must give a written letter (from your name and to the commercial officer, XXX exchange city) mentioning your present plan and the plan you want to be changed. Also tell them to increase the speed accordingly in the SWITCH circuit of your line at the BSNL node.
You should be able to see the line speed in DEVICE INFO or configuration link of the modem console 192.168.1.1
Sudhakar February 12, 2012 at 1:08 pm
BSNL is not providing 100% speed. I should get 500 KB/s (4000 Kbps) download speed and 96 KB/s (768 Kbps) download speed in 1350 ULD plan.
But see what I am getting. Copy and paste this link in the address bar :

YO February 10, 2012 at 8:04 pm
BY pings going down means, INCREASING, not decreasing as it may seem.
Due to increase in usage, the pings have increased from 70-120 ms to 250-320 ms
YO February 10, 2012 at 8:03 pm
It seems bsnl supports pirates and lowlife’s who download movies and other things. While they have increased speed for downloaders, the pings have gone down. Legitimate Multiplayer gamers cannot play online with such high pings.
A regular user does not need such high speeds other than to download movies(mostly illegal, you know I am right), while good pings are appreciated by online-players who buy their games( won’t work on most servers otherwise).
Increasing download speed for freeloaders at the cost of quality of service is not right, however popular it may be.
BALU February 8, 2012 at 10:40 pm
new upgrade is good
Guru February 7, 2012 at 3:23 pm
Its feb 7th today and still my speed in not increased to 1 mbps. I am still getting 512kbps. My friend stays next street and he is getting increased speed of 1mbps. I stay in Bangalore. Does it take time for all to get this upgrade?
Zohar February 6, 2012 at 7:02 pm
The new upgrade is good 1Mbps is quite satisfying for me, but it is varrying and never stays at a constant speed but the good thing is that it is always above 60kb/s, which is good, I have used BSNL for 5 to 6 years, globaly it is good but the ping remains high compared to other broadband companies. Otherwise the service is ok. What would really me nice is that there would be 1MBPS unlimited at the same price.
suresh February 6, 2012 at 4:28 pm
I am extremely happy with BSNL service..My speed is almost doubled..and Now i can download more data with higher speed.. I m using BSNL broad band since 2005 and got excellent service..Hardly my service interrupted 3-4 times…
Long live BSNL.
NVbbu February 6, 2012 at 1:11 am
@suresh : thanx for the information brother
suresh February 5, 2012 at 10:27 am
@NVbbu
Dear..Speed will be increased from Banglore Noc…So it will be upgraded automatically…No need to convince any officer…
arjunKR February 4, 2012 at 6:14 pm
3.5 gb over…now only left with 2.5gb
feeling very sad…this plan sucks to the core
NVbbu February 4, 2012 at 5:34 pm
@ Sanjay Bafna: thanks for the information brother.. i have now even convinced the office in-charge. But he said to me that there department was not informed of the the same and he’ll let me know when the upgradation will be done.. In short, though the notification for the upgradation has been given by BSNL but still users like me will have to wait for 1mbps speed… due to lack of co-ordination among the officials and different branches all over India.
Sanjay Bafna February 4, 2012 at 4:28 pm
Go here –> http://bsnl.in/service/new_BB/BB_home_only_unlim.htm
NVbbu February 4, 2012 at 4:12 pm
@girdher hey i just called the bsnl broadband incharge officer of the city and informed him about the upradation of speed but he said that there’s no such notification given to them.. Also i checked the bsnl website but i couldn’t find any notification saying about the upgradation of the speed.. So can you please disclose or post any link from the bsnl’s site proving the news about upgradation to be true ?
KLPDHG February 3, 2012 at 7:20 pm
@amit
Every internet provider shows their speed in Kilobits (Kb) and not KiloBytes (KB). 1KB = 8 Kb, if your download speed is 100KB it is in fact 800Kb.
zap February 3, 2012 at 7:04 pm
I don’t know y but I am still getting around 240kbps instead of 512 kbps in UL625 plan. WTF?
dskushwaha February 3, 2012 at 5:59 pm
No such thing on website. Visit bsnl.co.in/service/new_BB/BB_home_only_unlim.htm
Sandeep February 3, 2012 at 4:13 pm
6GB is nothing.. why tease us with 1MBps speeds when we cant use it for more than some 5 or 6 days?
we need atleast 1MBps truely unlimited plans
vinoth February 3, 2012 at 4:06 pm
@Jassi 8 gb is not download limit. its only the speed limit
vinoth February 3, 2012 at 4:02 pm
download speed is diffrent from bandwidth speed(browsing speed)
Surtej February 3, 2012 at 2:35 pm
In Jan,I was getting 220-240 kbps in (625plan) but now in Feb instead of increase it has been decreased and now I am getting only 35-40-50 kbps only. whats wrong ? Please tell What should be it in 625 plan?
amit February 3, 2012 at 10:27 am
my download speed is still around 104kB/s to 120kB/s ….why?
akhil February 2, 2012 at 7:10 pm

Shyam February 2, 2012 at 6:31 pm

Jassi February 2, 2012 at 5:26 pm
Using Combo plan of 750/-. The website says download limited to 8 GB and chargeable @ 20 paise/kb. While the customer care guy says no limit on download/upload… Who is right???
dsb_dsb February 2, 2012 at 3:51 pm
I welcome this upgradation by BSNL, i hope soon they will provide us with 1 Mbps speed for whole month or for unlimited data as streaming seems to be great on 1 Mbps speed so i hope they will upgrade these plans to 1 Mbps unlimited plans (For whole month). Well something is better than nothing…..
Bk February 2, 2012 at 3:20 pm
Restart your modem to get the new speed
epuus February 2, 2012 at 2:15 pm
instead of above should have changed the speed to 640kbps
Amit February 2, 2012 at 1:59 pm
No use of speed upgrade, as after certain limit the speed will decrise to 512. BSNL is making full to BB users
Rup Kumar February 2, 2012 at 12:40 pm
Agree with akshay give night speed of 1 mbps
Vivek February 2, 2012 at 12:08 pm

CP1978 February 2, 2012 at 5:35 am

Good suggestion by Akshai.
Akshai February 2, 2012 at 1:18 am
ITS GOOD TO SEE CHANGE IN BSNL SCHEMES, BUT INSTEAD OF GIVING 1MBPS TILL 6GB IS BAD IDEA, INSTEAD GIVE 1MBPS SPEED FROM NITE 1 TO MORNING 6 DAILY : )
vivek patil February 1, 2012 at 11:32 pm

IS IT AVAILABLE IN ANDHRAPRADESH
dskushwaha February 1, 2012 at 2:58 pm
OK! got the solution.
Clear the browser cache to see the new plans in all the websites of BSNL i.e. with/without www and with/without co..
Steve February 1, 2012 at 2:53 pm
if we visit http://www.bsnl.co.in/service/new_BB/BB_home_only_unlim.htm ..it shows all old plans
dskushwaha February 1, 2012 at 2:50 pm
There is something wrong with BSNL website. if you click bsnl.in/service/new_BB/BB_home_only_unlim.htm without www. you will see new plans. And bsnl.in/service/new_BB/BB_home_only_unlim.htm with www. shows old plans.
dskushwaha February 1, 2012 at 2:46 pm
Oh No! both bsnl.in and bsnl.co.in have been updated now.
dskushwaha February 1, 2012 at 2:42 pm
But http://www.bsnl.co.in/service/new_BB/BB_home_only_unlim.htm shows the same old plans. Its without co.in in http://www.bsnl.co.in which shows the new plans.

Chinmoy February 1, 2012 at 12:44 am
I would request you to get in touch with JTO of your exchange . JTO is a technical guy who would reset your circuit and can take necessary action to reduce SNR . I presume the wire connecting from the MUX to your home is a leaky one . Ask JTO to replace the wire with a Cable . I am having Cable which can carry upto 6 Telephone Connection . As far peak BW is concerned yes , I am very much getting more than 6Mpbs and on top of that the best part is after FUP I am getting around 1 Mbps Speed . I just did a speed test and my result is here . speedtest.net/result/1742772677.png
Phoenix February 1, 2012 at 12:40 am

Yes SAM, its seems like now normal unlimited plan has a better speed then night unlimited. So i think it’s the time to to change/Up-gradation.What do you think guys???
Prasanth Ramakrishnan January 31, 2012 at 11:19 pm
If that is the case…then what about my case..! 4 Mbs for 8 GB..!!
Just 5 Hours..!
Raghu January 31, 2012 at 11:17 pm
@Riju
this is the case for All pvt operators not alone Tikona . only PSUs provide services in Remotest Areas of India.
Raghu January 31, 2012 at 11:14 pm
@Riju
yes i agree in Broadband no one can compete with BSNL that is why the market share is higher in Broadband but if u see mobiles they are very bad in network even in my city.
they have not covered so many places.
sAM January 31, 2012 at 10:51 pm
Now BSNL plz revise ur Night U/L Combo plans……..
Zap January 31, 2012 at 9:41 pm
check this out man
karnataka.bsnl.co.in/upload_circular_doc/2011/Revised%20plan.pdf
Sudhakar January 31, 2012 at 9:40 pm
BSNL website still shows old information. I want to know whether 299 plan has unlimited usage or not. Can anyone tell?.
Riju January 31, 2012 at 9:35 pm
Can you use Tikona in a remote place. Their service area is only Big cities(always profitable).
BSNL offering EVDO service @3.1 mbps unlimited for Rs.750 with out FUP.
BSNL’s services may be poor in some circles. But Broadband is not in that list. More than 70% of broadband market is with bsnl. If their services are poor, how they get these much of customers.
Riju January 31, 2012 at 9:26 pm
For every landline operator , The no of employees needed is much much greater than any other operator(mobile).Bsnl has nation wide land line network.
Then sam Patroda’s view is ‘Any way make profit’. But a PSU’s view should be ‘Give better service , Then make profit’
chandan January 31, 2012 at 9:15 pm
Wow, u are r8 bsnl ppl must have read previous related post’s comments. but still they cud have doubled the bandwidth with no strings attached or atleast some decent FUP like 1Mbps upto 20 GB
GS January 31, 2012 at 9:08 pm
@firstonnet
Sir if u read this reply of mine please reply me back, i think ur thinking is like private operators, sir the main purpose of any govt firm or psu is to provide better services to all indians either rich or poor at affordable rates without thinking of profits, in the mean time if they earn the pay a large sum of their profits to govt so that our country can develop and provide employement and basic neccesities to citizens of India without any misleading figures. And second purpose is to provide employeement to as many Indians as possible not like private companies who hires only few thousand and all the profit is going in only one mans pocket. So our psu’s or govt firms are like our parents which are providing employement to lakhs of our Country persons and those lakh of people have atleast three to four family members at home, so these psu’s are providing roti, kapda and makan to so many. If u cant even understand what i have written ane what i wanted to convey and if u will come arguing i think u can never become a responsible person in life, so whatever our leaders says is because they are not worried about basis necesities of life they have more than enough and we are normal people, and think what will happens if u have so many resposibilites and you are fired from job, this will be the condion of those lakh people which they want to fire.if u want more discusion i can clear ur more doubts.
magneta January 31, 2012 at 9:08 pm
agree and like it
SAYANTAN January 31, 2012 at 8:43 pm
Only 6GB? OMG it takes only 12hrs to finish at 1MBps speed.
san January 31, 2012 at 8:33 pm
i am getting only 700 kbps….
RS January 31, 2012 at 8:23 pm
The only problem with us is that we dont appreciate any postive move by BSNL, atleast they are thinking something for customers means they are not dead in plans. May be in coming months there could be even some better plans for us, so y we should be negative in our thought process, be positive guys.
magneta January 31, 2012 at 8:19 pm
@Shvender Sharma I agree with you dude
3G January 31, 2012 at 8:01 pm
@kunal
Those who praise Tikona…Please look into their website…
tikona.in/for-homes-wireless-broadband-tariff-plans-Mumbai
the tariff plans are still costlier than bsnl with FUP.
Shivender Sharma January 31, 2012 at 7:14 pm
Bsnl Should Add Some free calls also in 750UL Combo
WiMAX January 31, 2012 at 6:40 pm
what about s-tel and etisalat db,, is they exist in india>>>>>>>>> pls someone reply me,, i want to buy a sim of etisalat db,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
dskushwaha January 31, 2012 at 6:18 pm
Yes! something is wrong with Chandigarh BSNL. I never get the speed near to 4 mbps on BB Home Combo ULD 900. The max speed is approx 2mbps. But some of our TT friends from Meerut (AmitS) and Kolkata (Chinmoy) say they are getting 6mbps plus on this plan and one from Ghaziabad (sunil kushwaha) say the speed of 3mbps.
Do BSNL provide different speeds in different circle in the same plan? Whereas their website does not show such thing.
Webly January 31, 2012 at 5:59 pm
Increase the speed of 600 combo plan.
dskushwaha January 31, 2012 at 5:44 pm
BSNL uses the term “BSNL Broadband” for its Landline Broadband Connections only (Earler the name was “Dataone”); So you can still enjoy unlimited data on EVDO 750 plan
Raghu January 31, 2012 at 5:35 pm
@Sathish
I agree with you. if u compare the service of BSNL compared to 5-10 years back they have learnt a lot in the last couple of years . They attend to complaints promptly which before they never used to do . Becoz of Competition from pvt operators they are working hard to improve their service. so PUSs and Pvt operators are required in India.
Raghu January 31, 2012 at 5:32 pm
@vishal
i am more than happy with their speeds of BSNL and their service as far as Broadband is concerned. but i am just conveying my grievance that why BSNL is not able to compete MTNL in so many things.
Sathish January 31, 2012 at 5:23 pm
Friends,
Being a Govt, Telecom Company BSNL/MTNL is doing some good moves now, when we compared with past, now they are trying to compete with private networks.
Each things have maintained proper accountability in all PSUs Like BSNL / MTNL. but we cant expect it from private.
Time will change everything; wait and see! the “colorful bubbles” will blast in one or two years.
A developing nation like India we need Public and Private services.
Restructuring the biz model is common for each and every firm, previously airtel was done, now Aircel, BSNL / MTNL looking to revamp their biz models.
You all know Indian telecom industry is the one of the more dynamic one in world!
vishal January 31, 2012 at 5:19 pm
dude why dont u try beam telecom (beam broadband) for 1000 to get 10 mbps speed its available in hydrabad beamtele.com @Raghu
vishal January 31, 2012 at 5:17 pm
this is the waste plan by bsnl we want 1mbps unlimited whithout speed reduction like
others wi5(zylog) and tikona and also mtnl and bsnl we hate you keep this fup in your aszz…
Raghu January 31, 2012 at 4:15 pm
@Riju
the problem with BSNL they do not update their website fast. When we got information on TT that BSNL is going to increase the speed there was nothing mentioned in BSNL website and even now i do not find mention of that. So BSNL have to change by updating their website often when they introduce new plans/increase the speeds.
Jayakrishnan January 31, 2012 at 4:08 pm
If implemented, it is a good move from the part of BSNL. Now, an humble request to them. Please ensure the continuity of connectivity. In many places, they do not have underground cabling upto the end user point. This will ensure continuous flow of connectivity. Therefore, they must undertake laying cables from residence/housing complexes to the nearest pillers on a warfooting basis. In some areas, road widening is affecting the cables. Proper precautions/planning must be taken for this also.
Raghu January 31, 2012 at 4:07 pm
@firstonnet
Yes Mr Sam Pitroda report says that. hope BSNL introduces more plans soon.
Raghu January 31, 2012 at 4:06 pm
@Riju
i am fully satisfied with the services of BSNL Broadband . But when i compare with PSUS with Pvt Operators BSNL is the best. BSNL is nation wide operator i agree . if they offer plans same as MTNL they can get more customers .so BSNL should also increase all their plans to 512 kbps soon.it is a not big deal for BSNL to increase the speed to 512 kbps and also increase the gb limit.
kunal January 31, 2012 at 4:03 pm
Also if you like to really experience the blazing speeds at dirt price then wait for june of this year. Reliance infotel (mukesh ambani) will be offering plans at 4G with 100 (mega bits= 12 mega bytes /second download and 2-3 mega bytes upload speed) with plans ranging from 100 rs for 1gb nd unlimited with no FUP for 1500 rs/month and that will be wireless internet. Then you will come to know what does speed means. I dont understand why telecomtalk is always praising bsnl ? Is there any link between these two due to which a full and real information is not provided.
krishnan January 31, 2012 at 4:01 pm
hi
bad business BSNL. Gr8 with ur FUP.I think you are in a deep well. The broadband is not broad as i was assuming.I use 750 ul. If i get unlimited 512 kbps for 250/month i cuold save 500 rupees per month.I dont think BSNL wants to keep going.
With deep regrets
krish
kunal January 31, 2012 at 3:55 pm
bsnl is a bull shit. It has handed over its marketing area to the non compatible companies , this issue is now under CBI . Due to this their plans as if compared to private ones is worst. Tikona – 4g (100 mbps)- 102rs./1gb
reliance netconnect – Evdo- 3.1 to 21 mbps – 750 (High speed till 8gb nd thereafter unlimited at 153 kbps speeds ) (wireless internet, full mobility)
Even I would say MTNL is good , as it has started innovations in plans to compete with private ones. But BSNL is always poor in terms of service and tariffs too.
k saha January 31, 2012 at 3:40 pm
GOOD MOVE ! AT LAST!
BRING (2MBPS ) PER 1GB/RS90+tax=9) ie 1gb/99/-
that will be greatful to many:
firstonnet January 31, 2012 at 3:35 pm
Even they have excess on payroll manpower/useless manpower (as per report of Mr. Pitroda 1lac) so that total cost will be always high than any other operators
Fahad January 31, 2012 at 3:35 pm
After the much itter bitter comments passed to this psu…
Finally a relief for them by this move…
6GB @1mbps then 512kbps is a bit less but much more than only 512kbps unlimited…
Enjoy fellas this plan is worth
Debasish Mitra January 31, 2012 at 3:25 pm
nice move ….I appreciate it. This type of plans are need of the hour.
Better late then never. We can expect this type of plans in 3G. I am waiting for
3G unlimited plan for a long time…hope BSNL wil bring it soon.
Riju January 31, 2012 at 3:24 pm
Man BSNL is a country wide operator.MTNL is only a metropolitan city operator. so that their operating cost is very less. Bsnl operates in so many remote places. so that operating cost per user is very high when comparing with other operators. Still Bsnl is providng services in cheap rate comparing with pvt. operators which are working only in big cities(only in high profitable areas). Still Bsnl is working for updating their plans.Already they updated some plans and updating work is going on in some places. Please give some time to them. Still BSNL hold more than 70% market share in Broadband market. This shows that so many users like Bsnl plans. So don’t compare Bsnl with Any othrer operator.
Ayaj January 31, 2012 at 3:21 pm
Just talked to BSNL Customer care on number 1500 from Landline and they absolutely have no Idea about this move!!! I wonder if its going to implement from 1st Feb as nothing is mentioned on BSNL site too.
Riju January 31, 2012 at 3:20 pm
If you want high speed broadband pay Rs.4999 or Rs.6999. You get 16 mbps & 24mbps speed respectively.
Or go for BSNL ftth 100 mbps unlimited fiber broadband only for Rs.84000/month
Singh January 31, 2012 at 3:17 pm
What about Rs 1350 UL plan ?
Are those, including me,who have this plan at a disadvantage ?
I have seldom received speeds of more than 1.5 Mbps.
Ayaj January 31, 2012 at 3:12 pm
A welcome move
abc January 31, 2012 at 3:11 pm
good move by BSNL
earlier they were providing the speed of 256 kbps then from 1 april 2010 they increased the speed to 512 kbps & now to 1 mbps till 6 gb its a good decision, as this will increase the competition & there will be win-win situation for both i.e., company & consumer.
addy January 31, 2012 at 3:10 pm
I think this is a good move from bsnl to stay in the fastest growing sector. but they should give limit of 10 GB. then it will be a really good deal.
Rameshkumar January 31, 2012 at 3:02 pm
Benefit is nothing in this plan.
Raghu January 31, 2012 at 3:00 pm
MTNL have upgraded all their plans to 512 kbps where as BSNL is increasing their speeds of some plans only. why this discrimination by BSNL towards Broadband customers.
Raghu January 31, 2012 at 2:58 pm
i need to know why for Plan 850 still it is 4 GB/month and why cant they make to 6 gb/month in that plan also i do not understand.
Ashish January 31, 2012 at 2:45 pm
Something good from BSNL !!!
naveen January 31, 2012 at 2:43 pm
Is it applicable on EVDO also
Bk January 31, 2012 at 2:41 pm
Why does bsnl keep reminding us that we live in the third world, anwhy hat the common man will never see what’s true broadband?
Bk January 31, 2012 at 2:40 pm
Why does bsnl keep reminding us that we live in the third world, and why the common man will never see what’s true broadband?
Amar January 31, 2012 at 2:39 pm
Gr8!! move by BSNL…
jaggy January 31, 2012 at 2:39 pm
Atleast 20GB usage must be given for 1mb speed.
Pratik Gujarathi January 31, 2012 at 2:36 pm
Nice move by BSNL.
Looking forward for upgrade in rest limited plans like BB Home Combo 600 and etc.
Surtej January 31, 2012 at 2:31 pm

Kishan January 31, 2012 at 2:30 pm
including GUJARAT ? ? ?
Kishan January 31, 2012 at 2:29 pm
