    Airtel = Heaven, I would agree with you. I find BSNL [3G] is also good in Bangalore

    I will give Bsnl a big thumbs down regarding its service and network availability in 3G segment. Here in Rishra we do not get signal of 3G, even we go to roof we are able to receive very poor signal. If I am not wrong Bsnl has started their 3G service almost about 4 years back but still now there is problem with 3G signal in Rishra. In comparison to Bsnl’s availability all the other private operators providing 3G is very good. Here we get full 3G signal of the private operators. For example Reliance 3G is hardly 6 months old but signal is too good. And Aircel is also same. I wrote an e-mail requesting for the 3G bts setup in our nearest tower to the Zonal head of Bsnl. 6 months are over but till now no progress and nothing. Seems like bsnl workers have gone to hibernation. I have an Airtel connection also. Once I was facing some problem with network. I informed them via customer care. After 2 days they called me and told that the has been solved and it was truly solved.
    So to me
    Airtel = Heaven
    Bsnl = Truly the Hell

    For the first time, a telecom operator includes plan for tethering of other devices along with BlackBerry Plan(s). Looks like BSNL is thinking ahead – if I remember right tethering is available only with the latest phone BlackBerry Bold 9900

    This would enable consumers like me to plan for suitable 3G plan – one data plan for e mailing, browsing and tethering other devices

    Kudos to BSNL
