BSNL is giving 148Kbps speed with download speed ranging between 15-25Kbps in 2G mode. Where as in 3G mode ur speed will start with 512Kbps & within less than 5Sec ur speed will be capped to 160Kbps. Vodafone is best in 2G speed.

riju October 18, 2011 at 10:28 am

Stupid BSNL fools! Instead of this outdated day/night pack, they should have introduced anytime 1.5 GB/30 days for Rs.47.

What is avg speed of BSNL GPRS in 2G mode?

Bsnl also stopped sms based gprs pack activation in wb circle.
Subhendu Mukherjee October 17, 2011 at 7:32 pm
BSNL in Kolkata stopped sms based gprs pack activations for unknown reasons. Does anyone know when this facility is likely to be resumed ?
Rohan Singh October 17, 2011 at 6:49 pm
Why the recharge of rcv has been stopped on SMS based activation …Retailers are not ready to Recharge smaller packs. And why this pan India operator offering circle wise plans …Though this pack is available here for 51Rs.
