  • joseph July 19, 2011 7:51 pm

    bsnl tries to become customer friendly they can achieve it only through bringing more affordable sms(local+ national) pack and more calling pack ,also they should improve 3g for reaching more areas i have 3g data card but i dont have 3g coverage in my area
    my location is b.k.pudur in coimbatore my nearest bsnl tower is 1-cbt-sugunapuram and 2-cbt-kvp barathi nagar. so bsnl should improve it

    @ Sanjay Bafna -BSNL MH&GOA required only rs.5O rc every 6 months to continue lifetime validity!
    now with rationalized plans has it become mandatory for MH&G subscribers too, to recharge with Rs.200 every six months to extend lifetime validity?? TOP up -55 as per new plans gives extention of only 45 days!! Need Clarification plz! BSNL MH&G Site is still not updated1

    @BIPUL
    What is your point man? R u suggesting the merger of RECHARGE & TOPUP option of CTOPUP??? Logically & technically i don’t think it is possible. Those two options are used in ctopup for different purposes. RECHARGE option used for special cases like FRC, power, plan change etc…where as TOPUP mainly used for refilling the balance.

    “This pattern is still followed by most of the pvt. operators.”….which private operator has only one option in their ctopup sim?? All private operators have the same “RECHARGE” & “TOPUP” two separate options in their ctopup sim…

    For free incoming while in roaming you have to “RECAHRGE” the amt Rs 12.

  • bipul July 2, 2011 5:03 pm

    @ farhad As i heard that there will no “RECHARGE” option now after ” plan rationalization”.

    You all know that all the RECHARGE VOUCHERS/C-TOPUP (for validity purpose) have been withdrawn and now every TOPUP giving some validity so no need to increase the validity sepearately now .

    Then why not recharge option is being omitted and why not all type of STVs should be activated by a single menu e.g TOPUP or any other new name whatever be that.

    Just have ODD figures for STVs (e.g Rs. 19 , 26 501 etc) and have figures of multiple of 10 for increasing the balance only.

    This pattern is still followed by most of the pvt. operators.

    Then bro ! pls. tell me why bsnl is still making the things so complex and complex.

    Indeed their “plan rationalization” is still far far away from their real goal. And bsnl is still complex.

    Has BSNL changed its minimum balance limit to Rs 10 for surfing Internet? I dont opt for any packs and I surf one or two sites sometimes through mobile. I was able to surf even when my balance was below Re1 or Rs2. But now I am not able to surf with balance Rs5.15. I keep getting this message “You dont have enough available credit to establish this connection.” CC told me now i need to keep my balance above Rs10. Do anyone know about this please comment.

    All incoming calls free from any network, tested and working fine. It is really killer plan by BSNL. TataDocomo n RelianceCDMA both taking heavy rent for free incoming call plan while Bsnl giving just for Rs. 12 simply awesome! Jai ho !

    hope others operator follow this!

    BSNL’s customers can enjoy FREE Incoming Calls while Roaming on BSNL Network when they visit any destination across India except Mumbai and Delhi. It’s very unfortunate that there is a service provider called MTNL in Delhi and Mumbai. Hope that we’ll say someday, “There was a service provider named MTNL in India which merged in BSNL”.

    It will happen soon.
    DoT is ‘THINKING ACTIVELY’ about it…

    Raghu :
    @Sanjay Bafna
    so this is applicable to all prepaid customers.why this offer is not possible on SMS and only possible in Kerala. i do not understand the logic behind this at all.all packs should be possible by SMS for all circles.

    this offer can be activated in kolkata also through sms…. sms STV 12 to 53738

  • Raghu June 28, 2011 1:36 am

    PD :

    Again half-baked one with questionable value – why not a uniform rate of Rs.11/- or Rs. 12/- ? ONLY IN ON NET CALLS – that is the catch !

    1. In some circle STV OR RCV priced at Rs.11 or Rs.12 already there for different benefits thats why circe specific price differences is there for the new stv. UNIFORM STV is technically not possible.

    2. All INCOMING CALLS FROM ANY NETWORK WILL BE FREE received on Bsnl network anywhere in INDIA .

    3. STV is applicable with any PREPAID Plan including PPS.

    Hope this will helps you !

  • Raghu June 28, 2011 12:17 am
