BSNL Mobile service users now have good reason to rejoice, especially if they are going to recharge their prepaid account (2G/3G) – they can get the Free SMS without spending money on SMS Packs.
State run telecom giant Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) announced the launch of Free SMS offer with every Top-up worth Rs.200 and above for its prepaid mobile customers in Gujarat and Maharashtra – Goa Telecom circles.
Under the offer BSNL subscriber will get Free Local and National SMS credit to any network equivalent to recharge value. For example if subscriber recharge with Top-Up worth Rs.200 he /she will get Full Talk Time + Credit of 200 SMS for free.The offer is available with all top-up worth Rs.200 and above and valid till 3rd August 2011.

You will not exactly get the full talktime.
Its Minus Service Tax/Processing fee. I have topped up with 220 got Rs. 199+220 SMS.

How is EVDO speed? I brought prepaid connection on Saturday. Speed was good. But from yesterday night I am getting only gprs speed. Anyone else facing problem. I am from kakkanad(kochi).

did you read above news properly ?? its not like that what u think, customer get full talk time + Free SMS, like on recharge of Rs.200 talktime of Rs.200 Plus 200 free sms so far better from just SMS pack.
