India’s largest integrated telecom service provider, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd. (BSNL), today announced the launch of ‘Free Life Time CDMA Sim Card’ (RUIM) for all land line and mobile customers in Himachal Pradesh telecom cicrle.
With this scheme, the BSNL land line/Mobile customer can take ‘EVDO enabled CDMA RUIM SIM card worth Rs.39 along with Free talk time of Rs.50 at free of cost from any BSNL CSC in Himachal Pradesh telecom circle. Any other new user who wants to take the BSNL EVDO Network Trial can buy lifetime valid prepaid pack starts just from Rs.39.
BSNL’s RUIM/SIM Card (Removable User Interface Module) can be used with any CDMA phones as well as EVDO enabled OMH-capable handsets like Samsung Corby TV, LG 510 and Blackberry 9630 to access High Speed Data services up to 3.2 Mbps and Voice calling subscriber can also use the RUIM card with any EVDO Data cards as their requirement.

just gone through the usage reviews of bsnl wimax in several blogs… wimax service has been launched in ma resident area… now think of to take a wimax connection… but had read that usb dongles is having some problems and will be resolved… so decided to wait until that because usb dongles provide us with real mobility…
