I am customer of En nanban super pre paid card. When ever i use to recharge my sim with an amount of Rs 110/- I was getting validity extension. But today the outlet shop keeper told me that BSNL server is not working hence better to recharge thro scratch card. He gave me 2 cards of Rs 55/- each. I recharged my sim thro both the cards and got my balance enhanced Rs 50 each time but at the same time there was no validity extension. Will any one tell me how I can get the validity extension ? and it has not extended while recharged ?

Government auditor CAG said its finding that 2G spectrum allocation caused loss of Rs 1.76 lakh crore to the exchequer was “presumptive”, while debunking suggestions that it singled out former Telecom Minister A Raja for indictment.
Asked if it had focused only on Raja and not the role of the Prime Minister and other Cabinet Ministers, Deputy Comptroller and Auditor General Rekha Gupta told reporters, “We have written on the basis of whatever record has come to us…. We have not given clean chit to anyone.”
The CAG report, tabled in Parliament, said that Raja had ignored advice of Prime Minister, Law Minister, Finance Secretary, Telecom Secretary and member (Finance) in the Telecom Commission on spectrum (radio wave) allocation.
Amid political uproar and reported findings of CAG indicting him for favouritism and causing Rs 1.76 lakh crore loss to the exchequer, Raja quit the Cabinet on Sunday night.
Asked how the loss figure was computed, and what was the rationale behind comparing 2G with 3G spectrum pricing, Gupta said the quantum of loss is “presumptive…. We have only tried to quantify the loss. The figure is presumptive.”
On the companies mentioned as having been favoured by Raja, she said, “We have said DoT has not done due diligence.
Had they (DoT) done, they (these players) would not have been found eligible.”
The report said 85 of the 122 licenses issued in 2008 were found to be issued to ineligible companies, eight of which belong to Unitech group.
When asked whether licenses alloted to these players should be cancelled, Gupta said, “It is for PAC (Public Accounts Committee) to recommend and Government to decide

Contrary to media reports and the DMK saying that newly appointed Communications Minister Kapil Sibal is only a stop-gap appointee, Sources say that the Minister will continue to function as the Minister even after the current session of Parliament closes.
The DMK had on Monday claimed that the Telecom Ministry was allotted to it and the current appointee was only a stop-gap arrangement by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.
DMK’s A Raja had quit on Sunday amidst mounting pressure from the opposition.
Kapil Sibal’s appointment is seen as a move by the government to defend strongly its policies and regulations in the ongoing cases against it in various courts. Kapil Sibal is a noted lawyer.

India and Research In Motion (RIM) have moved closer to an agreement on lawful access and monitoring of the highly-secure corporate email services on BlackBerry devices, the Mint newspaper reported on Wednesday, citing an unnamed Home Ministry official.
The paper said a series of meetings took place last week between RIM executives and officials from the Indian interior ministry and intelligence agency.
“They have in principle agreed to provide us recorded data from their servers,” it quoted an interior ministry official as saying.
“Now they have assured us that they will discuss the issue first among themselves and find a way to meet our demands. Later, they would be providing live access to BES (BlackBerry Enterprise Server),” the official told the paper.
An India-based spokesman for RIM was not immediately available for comment.
India, among several countries to express concerns that BlackBerry services could be used to stir political or social instability, had initially threatened RIM with a ban if denied access to its highly-secure Messenger and corporate email communications.
Late last month, the Indian government said RIM had set up an interim arrangement for lawful interception of BlackBerry Messenger services and had assured to provide a final solution by the end of January, while a government source had said talks were on over access to corporate emails

Yeah, BSNL and MTNL should be merged. I often go to Delhi and face problem with my BSNL number for recharge, so I have to manage it before. We see BSNL as national service provider therefore they should launch every offer nationwide.

Guys Read todays Financial Times on 2G scam. Almost all operators including Old( Airtel,Idea,Vodafone,Reliance) & new operators are benefited by bribing RAJA. Old players are holding 19-23mHZ of spectrum where as the norm is to hold upto 6.2MHZ. Reliance is the biggest briber as it got GSM licence inspite of Holding 10% stake in SWAN telecom which according to the telecom norms one operator cannot have two diff spectrum on same GSM platform but still Reliance got the spectrum first. Unitech datacom got spectrum @ less price & sold it ten times more to Foreign players who are innocent in this matter.

BSNL has to come out from regional attitude. BSNL and MTNL seperation is worst and again BSNL coming with regional plans is worst of worst. I cant understand till today why there is no uniform approach within BSNL. We are worsening day by day with reservations and seperations and groupsim from Political parties to common people.
