BSNL, India’s very own state run operator has introduced new voice STVs for the state of Tamil Nadu.
In all three Three NEW Voice STVs or Boosters has been introduced under denominations like 290,990 & 699 with w.e.f. 25/07/2011.
The STVs promises a better call tariff and comes along with long validity. So you don’t have to worry about and have a headache of recharging often.

These STVs/Boosters are made available to all 2G/3G prepaid customers under Group I in Multiple Boosters through C-TOP-UP.
Since the 3G facilities like video Calls are given by default to all the 2G prepaid mobile customers, the STV/Booster of MRP 57 is extended to 2G prepaid mobile customers also through C-TOPUP.

tata docomo gives on-net calls at 10 paise for 25rsper month but bsnl charging 54 and tatdocmo gives all local/std @.30 paise for 24per month and 66rs for 3 months. bsnl stv is not customer friendly they need to rationalise it

Bc.. bsnl ye stv launch ko chorke broadband speed upgrade k baare me sochegi so nahi.. mtnl kitna mast plan de raha hai 888 day 12kbps me 2 mbps nite and sunday fully ul..
bsnl sucks,..
mtnl providing 3g ul too bt bsnl acting like crappy private operators..
reliacne and idea r cheaper than bsnl 3g now..
reliance giving double data with data cards and idea offering dbl data on all there plans..

STV57 is good… But all other STVs are NOT that great, since ONLY BSNL MOBILE is 10p and BSNL LL is 49p… Better to get Nesam or even VINADI_Special (per second) plan and use Rs54 Booster (all BSNL mobile + LL @ 10p for 30 days) every month… Much better than 290 for 90 days and 990 for 1 year, imho…

STV-57 is good enough to promote 3G.
