When BSNL will Launch SMS Based STV Activation Facility for Maharashtra circle?? only Some STV are available with ACT to 53733 like 1ps sms,all @ 49ps & all at 1ps/sec.

But rest STVs we have to do an C-Top up.. But many retailers don’t keep BSNL recharges..

So if all STVs are introduced through SMS Based Activation then we can top up our Account through online recharge and activate desire STV through SMS…

So need of searching retailer for recharges then..

UC Browser is not working when I use it on BSNL network while Opera Mini works properly. I tried it on Nokia 5130, Nokia 5800 and Sony Ericsson w595. Is there anyone else who have faced this problem?

Pls check ur access point whether its socket apn like bsnlnet
Since most of the uc versions are not working with http access point like (bsnllive, bsnlwap, bsnlwest)
Where as opera mini always detects itself its own working network like http or socket whatever it is
So check access point name in 5800

    Thanks brother. I’ll try it.

When will MTNL Mumbai provide us with this service. Most vendors do not keep SMS coupons and Big Topups. Have to get it from the QCSC

Now a days there are many problems with BSNL. They are not charging for GPRS on many numbers on 2G and 3G both. People are using it. I checked it myself on two of my BSNL numbers. I downloaded and browsed but there was no any deduction in my account. I will not say anyone to forward my concerns to BSNL officials as there are some person who think that I am saying it to get any reward from BSNL like my previous concern about BSNL.

Pathetic service provider. There has been no signal in several areas in Hyderabad for the last five days. The handsets of BSNL subscribers are showing ‘Invalid SIM’. Most inefficient provider after Aircel and Unionor in Hyderabad.

Gprs is not getting activated on my Micromax handset X550 having BSNL Assam Circle No 9401767882 despite my several requests from Customer Care. Now what I am supposed to do?

As per my knowledge gps is pre-activated on every bsnl pre-paid sim.
I guess you are not having right settings , you can get gprs settings from the below link
    http://210.212.215.170:8080/msp/html/
or you need to create connections manually, set APN as bsnlnet .
Now their is no such rule of maintaining above rs50 main balance in bsnl, earlier bsnl use to force us to maintain above 50 Rs. of main balance for internet functioning.
I have activated one data plan and my main balance is -10,internet working perfectly.

Well, Bro in Odisha circle, New rule is Rs. 5 in main a/c instead of Rs. 50

Also, settings site for East Zone circles which includes Assam is http://218.248.71.14/msp/html/ and not http://210.212.215.170:8080/msp/html/.
