May be because of errors at point of interconnection between BSNL & Airtel/vodafone.

Does any one know why BSNL’s all-India code “94000″ does not get connected from AIRTEL / VODA numbers? If one tries their CUSTOMER CARE NUMBER 94000-24365 the error “THIS IS NOT A VALID NUMBER” is received.

Any thoughts, comments & feedback would be appreciated.

@Duane, It’s a problem of POI between Airtel,Voda and BSNL.
Airtel,Vodafone and other pvt operator will not allowed any Toll FREE lines of BSNL/MTNL so you cant access that 94000 from Airtel/Voda and others, You can dial the local Helpline numbers of BSNL from other operator.
In Mumbai MTNL customers also not able to access the virgin Mobile’s helpline because that connection was taken as all India toll free line from TATA.
