    @PD ya PD please check with ur contacts how the money was looted from BSNL …may be they (BSNL staff)are lagging in their duties.. since the ITS officers who were in govt service deputed in BSNL are worrying abt their convenience stay in the department with food grain, quarters, car, and etc n BSNL expenses ..with the help of politicians by helping them to loot the department leagly with out any fear… who are not going to be affected even if BSNL is going down… also they are not constructive in administration to take action against the staff who are failing in their duties..simply doing favour and getting favour.. with out doing their duties even morally ..but they have to answer to their ?

    @selvam
    Well, the ground realities are different. I have been associated with MTNL (earlier) and BSNL (now) over 3 decades. I have had the privilege to be in constant contact with the lower and middle (cadre) level work forces of these PSUs. My comments are based on the inputs I had received from them. Nice to read your concern and standpoints on the present national scenario. Criticisms (?) made without any prejudices need to be welcomed.

    Jayakrishnan :
    I am a BSNL customer for both landline & Broadband. I was under Home plan 500 for broadband. Recently I have changed the plan to BB Home Combo ULD 900. My problem (some other’s also) is that the net connection is getting disconnected many times. When I contacted the concerned engineer at my exchange (SKP-PEN-RGD), he also confirmed me the same. When I am in the middle of some payment mode, this type of disruption is a great nuisance. Can anyone tell me as to whom I should contact to get this problem rectified.
    My another problem is that my selfcare account is loaded with some other’s personal data. Though I have written to the cmdbsnl, I did not get any reply from him nor the problem is solved.

    You may read another postings in this context : http://telecomtalk.info/decline-of-landline-in-india/66093/. The BSNl and for that matter MTNL are not really serious in continuing with with their landline connectivities. Don’t expect any reply from cmdbsnl or anybody, few of welwishers are prodding the CC to act, but then there is a limit. At the end of the month, all will get their salaries credited into their bank accounts, why to bother ! Good luck.

    You are correct, it is very cofusing and differ in all circles. To continue subcriber have to get recharge as shown below to continue life time validity
    * The subscribers are given the option to continue lifetime connection either by recharging with Rs. 200/- in every 180 days or with Rs. 100/50 in every 90/45 days.(this is exclusive S/Tax)

    BSNL should give streight away life time validity as like other operators to keep the customers with BSNL and it should be at par in all circles

    One more south zone oriented scheme.

    Raj :
    I’m new customer of bsnl.
    I was not able understand the plans & process clearly.
    I was experiencing many confusion.
    Validity concept is very bad.
    Private operators r better in this aspect.
    Plz have a glance on validity.

    Validity is to know the right no of subscribers not like private operators who show wrong info of its subscribers base. Atleast 15 to 20% subscribers will be inactive in Airtel and Vodafone.
    Why dont you transfer your scheme to lifetime and whenever you recharge with 55rs you will get 6 months of validity from the date you recharged everytime and also opt for 1p/sec or 49p/min plan as per your need.
