In a bid to celebrate Onam,Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL) the pan-India total telecom service operator has introduced a bouquet of Onam offers for its subscribers in Kerala telecom circle.
The operator has come up with lots of unique and attractive schemes on Free 2G GSM Prepaid Mobile Connection with Unlimited Free calls, IPTV service, Free GPRS Browsing, Broadband and prepaid Broadband services to woo its subscribers in Kerala.
Free Prepaid SIM Card with Unlimited Free Callings offer :
BSNL launches attractive scheme called “BSNL Home” exclusively for the loyal BSNL Land-line customers of Kerala Circle as ONAM Gift. As per the offer every loyal land line customer shall be issued one free Prepaid SIM card with Pay per Second plan and initial talk time of Rs.15. With this offer Subscriber can make Unlimited Free Local calls from this mobile number to his registered home land line (Only from Home LSA).
While all other local and STD Calls (except Home land line number) shall be charged as per 'Pay-Per Second' tariff. After the expiry of initial validity of 180 days, further validity can be extended by using any of the recharge coupons and continue to enjoy the Unlimited Free call facility forever.
In above scheme BSNL Land-line customer shall be given the option for selecting the choice mobile number in match with the existing land line number from the available MSISDN list. The choice of number selection shall be subject to availability and issued on first cum first serve basis. In case the land line number of the customer belongs to vanity level and wants the matching number for the free SIM card issued under this scheme, the customer should pay the necessary vanity number charges.
All land line numbers which are continuously working for more than 3 years can be considered as loyal customers and eligible for the above scheme.
FREE GPRS Browsing for Mobile TV and BSNL Live portal offer:
The GPRS browsing charges for streaming APN ‘bsnlstream’ will be FREE during the period of ONAM festival starting from 16th Aug’10 to 31st Aug’10 for postpaid and prepaid BSNL mobile subscribers in entire South zone. Now customers can experience the thrill of streaming services of BSNL 3G through BSNL Live portal and BSNL Mobile TV without paying any data access charges. The free data access shall be applicable only for streaming services offered
BSNL- IPTV Onam offer :
The operator has come up with new Onam Special IPTV Offer wherein all IPTV connections will be given a special Onam discount of Rs 1,000 and accordingly Set-Top Box (including installation charges) will cost just Rs 1,250 only, instead of Rs.2250 (existing price).
One Year-Onam Special Plan for BSNL Prepaid Broadband:
BSNL also introduced new Onam Special Prepaid broadband Plan at Rs.3000 with 2 MBPS speed and 17 GB Free download and one year validity. The installation charges will also waived off for all new prepaid broadband subscribers in Kerala.
FREE Installation of New Postpaid Broadband Connection:
BSNL Kerala announced FREE installation for new broadband connections and offers Unlimited Free Browsing/Downloads for 15 days at 2 MBPS Speed to all new postpaid Broadband customers.
Apart from the above special plans for Onam, BSNL's also launched 'Mega Mela' at its 35 Customer Service Centers (CSC) in Thiruvananthapuram Telecom District from August 16 to 22, wherein prospective customer can subscribe BSNL service from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
