In a bid to celebrate Lohre, Pongal, Makar Sankranti, Basant Panchami & Republic Day, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL) the pan-India 3G mobile service provider has introduced a bouquet of Full Value and Extra Talk Time offers for its 2G and 3G Prepaid subscribers in all telecom circles across India.
10 % EXTRA TALK TIME :
BSNL offers up to 10% extra talk value on its high end TOP-UP coupons (RC/Top-Up) priced at Rs.1000 and above.
FULL TALK TIME : Apart from the above 10% Extra Talk Time offer on High End Top Up, BSNL also offer Full TALK TIME on all Top-up vouchers/C-top-up/Flexi top-up from M.R.P. of Rs.100 to Rs.999. The offer also applicable to all new set of TUs from M.R.P. of Rs.100 to Rs.999 in C-TOP-UP recharges system valid up to 28th January 2012.

Is BSNL offer any scheme, having more validity & less talk value, in Haryana. I need one like this because I am left with 2000rs. & 1 month validity in my pre-paid mobile.

BSNL & Air India exists for the same reason – Service. They are required to do Services which the private players can’t & won’t do.
P.S – Air India was partly destroyed by the Govt. itself.

Dear Kunal..
Now Govt stop paying BSNL for its services in Rural Areas.. and BSNL spending more than 10000Cr for these areas which are commercially nonviable..
I m not saying BSNL is the best operator..
And attitude of its employees is not up to the mark….I can bet even Top Telecom companies will not hire the junk of BSNL( CMD, GM, DGM, SDO, JTO)..
only 10% staff is working and rest is enjyoing…
BUt if You see beside every hurdle…BSNL is truly serving Rural India..and It has to be survive for poor people…I will say those who were criticizn BSNL..jst went to far flung village and see the tariff..U will find the differnce…

Now, Neither ADC nor USOF is recieved to BSNL.Although, BSNL is forced to provide Basic Telecom Services (Landline) in such rural areas,that you had not think ever.BSNL was provided ADC on behalf of its Landline operation in rural areas,which is adding loss of Rs. 7000 to 8000 crore per year till date.ADC,when it was given,at that time also wasn’t sufficient.

Actually, the reverse of your statement is true. ADC/USOF is paid by pvt. operators because BSNL provide communication at far flung areas. BSNL was providing communication even before the existence of pvt. operators in India. If private operators want they can setup their network in these places and get rid of such charges.

The reasons I have mentioned in my comments. And until and unless it is freed from such pressures and been given the freedom to work with rationalised restrictions it can never improve. And as such pathbreakers will never get removed so there is no scope of its improvement. As BSNL has decided to apply the organisation structure same as the private operators , it shows that who is following whom and if Private telcos are cheater then why bsnl is applying their structures.
4 months back an interview of Mr. Upadhay was aired on NDTV PROFIT with Pankaj Pachauri
.
He accepted all the faults and also said that we are re-structuring and changing our basics . And gave assurance that the ongoing process will be completed in just 2 months. Now the given timeline by him has vanished and even 2 months more are added.
Speaking of BSNL’S service in far flung areas , it was due to ADC paid by private operators and now USOF .
If the treatments given to BSNL are given to private operators then you will see a 9 fold increase in quality and a bigger affordability .

Every one crying that BSNL is crap..and Its not cheap compared to other operator…My Dear Raj..Cheap service by other operator is just because of 2G scam…In few months result will be clear..PC, and finance ministry is in trouble…
now come to money that wasnt paid to BSNL in respect of various charges..
More than 3000Cr..-Reliance..
Aircel, Uninor- using BSNL tower without giving single penny..due to influence of former Telecom minister Maran…

Dear All,
Your all queries and questions solution is with me. Here it comes.
1. Bsnl has not crossed 62% VLR(VISITOR LOCATION REGISTER) in any telecom circle as per trai report of NOV.2011. In HARYANA 50% is VLR, it means out of 30 lack GSM subscribers only 15 lack were on network at same time when it was peak time.
I.E 50% of the capacity of network was vacant, IDEA , AIRTEL , VODA all had 90% nearabout VLR. VODA (43LACK), AIRTEL( 22LACK) , IDEA (35LACK) in Haryana.
Inspite of such a low traffic rate the network is – BUSY, VOICE CRACKING , CALL DROPPING and also GPRS call drops and dismal/no speed .
For your surprise from Feb 2011 – August 2011 2G gprs was not available in JIND. After my complaint reached to the PG cell the local bodies responded and the GPRS was restored.
And the problems are still standing as they were. And you will be more surprised to know that JIND is the best SSA of Haryana .
2. The towers are not getting BTS from last 1.5 years just due to the laziness of High and low class employees. The slow processes of tenders and the corruption prevailing within.
3. As per Mr. Milind Deora ( In Winter session)- ” BSNL has failed to even get the average status in network quality “.
4. Comparison— 30 days voucher
Idea – 32 rs. 40p/min(local/std)
Vodafone- 37 rs. 40p/min(local/std)
Airtel-35 rs. 40p/min(local/std)
Bsnl- 43 rs. 3op/min(bsnl)(local)
40p/min(others) (local)
Airtel/Idea/Voda- 25 rs – 1 Re/3min (local+std)
Bsnl- 29 rs – 1 Re/3min (bsnl) (local+std)
1.20/3min (others) (local+std)
5. Bsnl is only offering good GPRS packs as compared to private operators.
BSNL- 98 – 3GB
AIRTEL/VODA/IDEA- 98 – 1GB .
NOTE- Is it worthy to get disconnected or dismal speeds and to load a page or content again and again which will eventually consume more data and time. Rationally 3 GB will get shrinked to 1GB .
6. 3G ICRA (INTRA CIRCLE ROAMING AGREEMENTS)- These are not purely illegal.
As per UNIFIED LICENSE , any operator can give any service inspite of its being 3G,2G,Landline,Broadband etc. In haryana airtel is on idea 3g. The auctioning was of spectrum not of license. Airtel did not get Spectrum so it did agreement with idea to provide 3G services to its customers.
Marketing as airtel 3g is illegal, getting revenues from customers and sharing it with idea is illegal, ( the whole revenue belongs to idea as they have purchased spectrum and set up the network).
Its my personal knowledge and opinion on this issue.
7. There single employee does not want to work. Floating tenders and then scrapping them is its virtue ( Apprx. 2 lack tender have been till date been cancelled by govt companies in which BSNL tops the chart ). The cancelling is due to – political pressure, private companies pressure, poor management , corruption etc.

Absolutely true,and if u prefer online recharging go to Aircel website to get 5% extra talktime each time you recharge(unlike BSNL,you can choose from a range of lower denominations)
We are not talking about 3G sharing here,but about immature marketing and useless offers from BSNL.
This is not true 3G!!As I said Aircel is offering full tt always for as low as Rs68 and 5% extra tt starting from Rs258.Airtela and Vodafone too has full talktime offers at as low as 111 or 222 round the clock and 365 days(varies from circle to circle)

Private operators’ FTT offers start from Rs. 333. All cant do such high recharges at a time.
And important this is that whatever the operators gives as extra TT, they will deduct it through false activations. I have experienced it several times.
If you look at top-up cards of lower denominations, BSNL gives the highest Talktime.
Rs. 50 TT on Rs. 55 recharge while other operators gives only Rs. 40 on Rs. 50 RC.

BSNL is suffering from huge loses. Nobody is acting as a slave of england, they are giving quality of service.
I had also used BSNL 3 years ago but at that time you have to wait 30-60 minute to talk to customer care.
Why are you using computer, mobile which is invented outside india?
It not about indian company or outsider company, its all about quality of service and nothing else.

NO THEY HAVE LOOTED CRORE OF PUBLICE AMOUNT FROM THIS SHARING. BEFORE BSNL, MTNL MOBILE LAUNCHES, HOW AIRTEL LOOT THE PEOPLE FOR OG CALLS, I/C CALLS AND SMS. i believe, whatever the comments are against the bsnl , its solely made by private operaors and as the persons who live in most extreme area like j and k , north east, and rural villages where till now road is not reached bsnl had a presence there. bsnl is not just a like a private operators to make profit , its has a libility to serve people in real mean. if it will not in competion with other pvt optrs than cost of mobile services grown up like in 2000 where incoming call are chrges by pvt optrs. i believe bsnl will make full come back again.

because we are still acting as a slave of England. Second position of vodafone in Indian telecom market is the clear evidence. It was the responsibility of people of India to show the world that we give preference to our company first. Mr Amar think twice before making comment regarding BSNL who has been serving India for more than 150 years.@amar

wow””bsnl….good news for us who love u and like u and we are proud to use bsnl.don’t listen who misguidding u.if bsnl is useless then why 9 cores people using bsnl.only one suggestion to u if possible then explan ur 3g network as erly as possible.one thik u should remember honesty is a best policy.Most of the private player now deducting balance without informing the customer.THESE PRIVATE PLAYERS ARE CHEATERS.
