3G has any 3 of same boosters obviously without Group IV GPRS. Group 1 as follows:
Name of Booster MRP Validity
Local/National SMS@Rs. 0.01/SMS 13 30
Local calls on net@Rs. 0.10/min 65 30
Local calls on net@Rs. 0.20/min 36 30
Local calls to any network@Rs. 0.30/min 61 30
Local & STD calls on net Rs. 0.20/min 47 30
Local video calls free 125 minutes 57 30
Another important thing check the respective BSNL/MTNL websites according to the circle you are in and then preferably approach the BSNL offices in your respective areas and confirm with them before doing anything, because they themselves are sometimes not very well informed. You will find the respective brochures for 2G/3G broadband etc. though most of the time you have to check if they are updated ones and also they might not have brochures for the main plan that they are selling for eg: En Nanban Super etc were not even having a single brochure for the customers to know how to add the additional discounted rate numbers. So please go through the same and read between the lines any conditions apply * check carefully and then make a decision. Check the notice boards too. Know the difference between a recharge card and a top up card(recharge is for extending validity, topup is for talk time). Find out the validity conditions of your scheme. Find out what is the minimum recharge amount to keep the card active within its speculated time frame.
If you say or think you don’t have the time to do all that later don’t be sorry. For a fact I know that most of the time BSNL will have some prices mentioned on its site, or No initial charges ads even in the office, etc, but when you go to purchase or take up the service it will differ. EVDO card mentioned Rs. 2100 but given at Rs. 3450 some years back. No Installation Charges etc, but Rs. 500 collected so everything is not what it seems. When you are well informed itself you are cheated like hell so don’t be ignorant and expect to be spoonfed all the time and always remember this saying “NOTHING IS FREE,” there’s always a CATCH! Lift your butts off the ground and make an effort the next time you want to know something. That is why today we are sitting with all the scams today because none are well informed!!!

BSNL Chennai already did the same and STVs are available in Chennai.
Note-: Chennai is separate circle for Old operators.
Renish July 2, 2010 at 12:55 pm
@Karthik Kumar BSNL Chennai is not allowing these boosters to 2G customers also.. It is only available now in TN Circle
Renish July 2, 2010 at 12:44 pm
BSNL Tamil Nadu Introduces Usage Of Multiple Boosters In 2G services. But it is not available in Chennai. Is Chennai out of Tamil Nadu? BSNL Chennai is still sleeping..

how can we know the GPRS balance? i asked the customer care and got the reply this is not possible. so we have to be very careful before reaching the limit otherwise our main balance will be taken for the GPRS usage.

i am AP BSNL user.i am following this add since from 2 weeks.i am interested in RC61 for 30ps call. so went to original bsnl website for online recharge. but this option was not available. only regular topups are available. when i want to confirm with customer care. they use to tell as no information is available for them. when i went to dellar. he also dont know. even the distributer also telling that i dont know about this offer. so i request BSNL to intimate the offer details to customer care and distributer first and then display in website !
