Gujarat’s largest Broadband service provider and National Telecom Backbone Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd. (BSNL) today introduces Prepaid Broadband Service over its PSTN landline network in the state of Gujarat.
According to the BSNL, Its prepaid Broadband comes without any fixed monthly charges and also with the added benefit of Roaming service and it can be used in all BSNL telecom circle anytime and anywhere across India.
BSNL Prepaid Broadband tariff plans starts from just Rs.50 which is lowest entry plans in Broadband service segments in India. In ADSL high speed broadband service segment wherein still no competitors for BSNL and it has more than 2, 50,000 customers in the Gujarat telecom circle.
The BSNL prepaid Broadband vouchers are categorized into unlimited download and limited downloads with unlimited download there are four types of recharge vouchers offering speeds ranging from 256 kbps to 2 Mbps.
BSNL’s Prepaid Broadband limited download category has 9 different types of recharge vouchers. The validity period varies from voucher to voucher. Limited data option also has two other types of vouchers, one for extending the validity period and the other for increasing the usage within the validity period.
According to the BSNL, the Prepaid Broadband service is being launched in a phased manner across the country with in next few months.

Obviously land line connection is a must bcoz its ADSL BroadBand, and after subscribing the Prepaid plan subscriber can use that with any BSNL landline with ADSL connection any where in India with their own ADSL ID and Password.

The landline connection is a must isnt it??? And ADSL should be allowed in that landline also isnt it???

90% mobile user are prepaid subscriber
so it is a good move to launch Prepaid Broadband
it looks like BSNL finally wakes up and responds to current market demands
