Dear Idrees, Thanks for your suggestion, Actually above GPRS plans was announced by BSNL CO Office and planed to implement in all the BSNL circles as their suitability, But all the limited Plans (except Unlimited Plans) are not implemented in many circle for Mobile service users (However on 2G Data card its available) yet,so the problem occurred at customer level.
well Im working on that to collect the information from all the circles and will publish circle specific plans soon.

Smarty, maine khud 1 se 2 weeks talk wait kiya but H.P. Circle me sirf Plan-1 (3paisa/10kb) aur Plan-5 (Rs.274/month) available hain. Plan-1 automatically activate ho jata hai agar aapke paas bsnl gprs ki setting hai.
Maine customer care se bhi puchha but the replied that they had no information about these 5 plans. Even they didn’t know that unlimited plan has changed to Rs.274/month from Rs.230/month.
Jab maine unhe bataya ki plan change ho gaya hai to wo mujhse behas karne lage.
After argument they told me that only these 2 plans are available in h.p. circle and other three plans which are Plan-2(Rs.54), Plan-3(Rs.108) & Plan-4(Rs.219) are not introduced in himachal as they are for rajasthan circle only. BSNL customer care is the worst customer care in india. I think you have got ur answer.

All new GPRS plan are Pan India applicable so will be available in all circles,However the circle level implantation work (introduction of NEW RC) will take time of max 7 days,so i guess plan will be available in all BSNL circles in next 7 to 10 days.

I am using bsnl network from year 2006..
In 2006 -2008 i was gettng hardly 10kbps but it got boosted in year 2009 after they upgraded to edge netwrk…
The normal speed which i am getting in day is 20kbps and in nights after 12am the speed is more than 35kbps or 35kbps…
For ist 10 secs i get 155kbps downloadng speed and then it goes on decreasing till it reaches 35kbps or 25kbps…try it on laptop/pc… If you are getting slow speed disconnect the net and then connect it again after a litl while.

Nice paln from BSNL. If you use it with PC/Laptop, you will get better speed than you will get in your mobile. I already test it in EDGE network. There is no need for ADSL BB from BSNL, if you have limited usage only. Because the package is cheaper than Land Line BB. Also there is no fair usage charges. You can always use the unlimited plan with PC/Laptop. Other’s (Airtel) unlimited plans are only limited for mobile browsing.

whether applicable for Maharashtra circle?? Because previous rs.230/month unlimited Gprs for Mobile and also for PC/laptop for prepaid customer was not available… only 5ps/10kb with zero rental till date is available in Maharashtra & Goa circle..

BSNL Rocks….
Airtel Still charging Rs. 250/- for just 125 MB data.

Good start for BSNL.Is this plan applicable to all circles ie Bihar and Jharkhand.If so than good ?
