rgsm full topup is condtional.promo talk time has limited validity.other operates offer at least one unconditional full value topup.

But you said “No full talktime topup for heavy users”, so heavy users should not bother validity of promo, which is generally 7 days and sufficient enough for not so heavy user also.

Well, there can’t be any comparison to 3g with cdma because 3g itself is a modified version of cdma(i.e wcdma). Both have very good voice clarity. So, I don’t think you will find much difference if you have enjoyed cdma voice clarity properly. There is no relation of text delivery improvement with 2g or 3g. So, text msg delivery will be as usual.

But Maharashtra Bsnl is Giving Rs. 200 Talk time with Rs. 280 RCV with 365days validity.. Check this Link http://maharashtra.bsnl.co.in/mhschemes/promo_pre.asp

The recharges mention in the news are regular recharges and pan India applicable. So don’t compare it with any circle specific promotional offer. Even if you check the URL of Maharashtra web site which you mention in above comment, the “PROMO” word is there.

Okk.. Promo offer of Rs.200 with RCV 280 with 365 days validity Is Valid till 4 DEC 2010 for Maharashtra BSNL users… So after promo offer period is over then user will get Rs.110 TT instead of Rs.40 TT then on RCV 280…

Still BSNL is differencing between General Plans and Life time plans…. from roaming General Plans users are charged Rs. 1 for Sms & Rs.2/Sms for life time users…
If we see lifetime user has to recharge with Rs. 200 every six months with Rs. 180 talk time & General user Rs. 280 for 365 days with lesser talk time…

It is confusing – Anant and Saral Anant – I tried to figure it out. but in vain.
Are u not in 1p sec. plan ? If not GO FOR IT very ideal and cheap !
SMS ACT 1s to 53733 : a sum of Rs.69/- will be deducted from your balance (pl ensure credit in ur a/c). Then all charges are at 1p second in Mah & Mumbai. While roaming outside Maharashtra it is 1p. sec for incoming too.
And for sms there is a pack (Rs.13/-pm) -
SMS:(For Activation:) ACT 13 to 53733 : RS 13/- will be deducted and all sms charges will be 1p for sms even while on roaming. Pl. note it is renewable on monthly basis.
    For De-activation SMS: DEACT 13 to 53733

Yes I m knowing all the plans and also using it but I tried to tell the difference between General Plan & Saral Anant Plan that if none of the schemes are activated on BSNL number then General user charges are Rs.1/sms & Anant users charges are Rs.2/sms from roaming…
So if we compare this default Sms Rate with other operators then others operator comes mostly with lifetime validity only and also Sms rate from roaming is Rs.1.50/sms..
So I mentioned that BSNL is still differencing between General Plans and Life time plans….

BSNL has upgraded all the 2G subscribers in Bihar. Viden call is available to everyone now. Recharge with 2G data pack & enjoy 2G speed, recharge with 3G data pack & enjoy 3G speed. Difference is only for data. All other recharges & tariffs are same.

Bari bari se bahut sare tariff kam huye hain, ab stv ki bari hai. Stv ke option to bahut sare hain magar unke price bahut adhik hain. STVs ke price kam hone chahiye.

BSNL ko validity ka system ab khatam kar dena chahiye, isse bad impression padta hai. Phir bhi, talktime aur validity pahle se to achhe hain.

Well, this Validity voucher system is the only problem of BSNL currently. And if you go for Saral Anant, all charges will increase.

Further, in Orissa, you can’t opt for Saral Anant if using 3G SIM.

TT -Please confirm that the table given in your news items refers to ONLY PHYSICAL RECHARGE VOUCHERS meant for ONLY VALIDITY. Because online echarges vouchers of similar denominations gives full talktime-minus- tax !

Still wonders, why BSNL still think that its subscribers lag on the terms of “validity” for continuance ! It has no relevance now. It would be better if vouchers or for that matters, e-recharges rechristened in terms of “talk-time” “data charges”, vas, ams, etc.

I dont understand why BSNL is still stuck with “validity” recharge vouchers. And their Saral anant plan is still not at par with the general plan… Why dont they just provide a simple lifetime valid sim with simple tariff structure? Its such a complex data mentioned in bsnl’s website under tariff section. :s

Perhaps BSNL is the only service provider who has validity voucher till now.
