@Rajive Borde
Its OK Rajive, and you observed it too ! The private ops have offset the expenditure pay-outs, a bail-money for their execs/legal charges etc. etc. So quite naturally it will be billed on the subscribers covertly.

Rajive Borde April 25, 2011 at 7:19 pm
Its working perfectly for all and see the image in the news which perfectly says that service is tested by TelecomTalk and working. Don’t try to misguide
Tarun April 25, 2011 at 7:16 pm
Make sure u have set ur settings in UMTS mode we tested the same and was working perfectly …..
Rajive Borde April 25, 2011 at 7:15 pm
thank you, and there is no hard feeling personally, im just pointing out that when market or private operators price for these 3G VAS is Rs.5 to Rs.10 per minute and BSNL giving all just at Rs.2 than how come its over priced or costly ??
Ariff April 25, 2011 at 7:08 pm
I dialled 51010 now (7:04 PM on 25 April 2011), lost Rs 2.50 and the call got cut. The only thing I received was a voice message asking me to dial another number (that too I could not hear it properly). I suggest people to keep away from BSNL’s gimmicks. KEEP AWAY FROM BSNL’s VAS. DO NOT LOOSE MONEY.

@Rajive Borde
Thanks for your advice, and I think I know the differences. A news is a news (I am restricting my views for this cony) and if one wants to watch all on cell (including minutes long advts, and views. etc/) be it that way. I have two BSNL 3G connections and a land line too, all used in comparison for specific usefullness. This also make your PS points clear appropriately. I don’t want to offend you, have it and enjoy all along the VAS.
Rajive Borde April 25, 2011 at 6:43 pm
@PD
This is Video Service not SMS so Video and SMS both are different thing !! why u are comparing this with SMS ?? BSNL also providing SMS based VAS if Video Service is not affordable for you than SMS mai hi khush rahao bhai
For your info BSNL 3G VAS are cheapest in India compare to all other operator like Reliance and Tata Docomo taking Rs.5 and Rs10 per minute for similar service and in BSNL it just Rs.2/min
If Rs.2 is not affordable than don’t take… koi jabradasti nahi hai bhai..
PS : typewriter and computer mai jo fark hota hai vo hi SMS based VAS and Video based VAS mai hota hai so aap typewriter k jamane mai rahan chahate hai ??
PD April 25, 2011 at 6:23 pm
Not worth to pay Rs.2/- min. Now a days BREAKING news are available on SMS and that too FREE. BSNL should think something new in their own mandated field of TELECOM rather than relaying channels having their own linear thinking on NEWS AND VIEWS.

Will it make the phone busy for incoming call??
Anuj April 25, 2011 at 4:16 pm
Rs2/min pagal kutte ne kata kya jo yesi service sir pe le?
Aatif April 25, 2011 at 4:07 pm
Will this work on 3G enabled phones that don’t have a front facing camera? The LG Optimus One, for example, does not even allow me to make video calls due to lack of Front Facing Camera.
tagore April 25, 2011 at 4:07 pm
