In a bid to celebrate the festive season of Durga Puja, state run telecom giant Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) announced the launch of Free Unlimited 2 MBPS Broadband along with Free Games on Demand and Music & Video on demand services for its prospective broadband customers in Kolkata telecom circle.
With the offer, new broadband subscriber will get 15 days unlimited Free downloads at 2 Mbps speed which is applicable for all the new customers registering their Broadband connection up to 15 November 2010 under any Broadband- limited or Unlimited Plan as their own choice of up to 2 Mbps speed. The operator also waived off Broadband installation charge for all new customers.
The new subscriber also get Free access of Broadband VAS over the new broadband connection named Games on Demand (GoD) services worth Rs 100 and Music & Video on demand (MoD) service worth Rs 149 for one month.
To avail the Free GoD/MoD services, new subscriber needs to visit http://bsnl.indiagames.com or call 1800 425 0500 while for Music and Video on Demand services www.bsnl.hungama.com or call 1800 209 7010 after availing new BSNL Broadband connection.

Some unwanted advise to BSNL :
do the bsnl has any free unlimited 100 mbps net line offer for Durgapuza Daily.
BSNL should be matured from its childhood because BSNL as ISP has passed so many
Years from year 2000 (approximately). I think BSNL does not know that technology has become more easy and user friendly and cheap. I do again advise to BSNL to throw out the old SERVERS and buy some new ones. Make free unlimited dnld for old customers also at 100 mbps free upload download in festive days.

The Free 2 MBPS BB for 15 days scheme is available in all circles up to 15 Nov 2010. However Free VAS will be available only in some circles like Kolkata

I too agree with you guys. Among all the bsnl circle,kolkata is ahead of launching new & new offers. But the network is not as good as expected.

I agree with satish that kolkata bsnl is real good and very responsive when other companies launch offers i think they had a similiar offer in kerala during onam festival in august

I THINK KOLKATTA BSNL IS VERY GOOD, WHEN U COMPARED TO OTHER BSNL CIRCLES. BECAUSE OF COMMUNIST PEOPLES.IF MNP IS ONCE COME INTO TAKES PLACE IN INDIA, THEN ONLY WE GET KNOW BSNL MARKET POSITION.
