Thats why BSNL name stands tall.Even after 7 and half years I am with BSNL Cellone. My landline connection is BSNL since 1960(earstwhile it was DOT).So many came and gone still BSNL lives long! Jai Ho.The contribution of Calcutta Telephones in 3.19 lakh addition must be mere handful. They should try to live up to the expectation of BSNL.However their 2G/3G network is now more stronger than BSNL West Bengal Telecom for sure..Go BSNL Go

BSNL ke itne addition tab hin jab uska SIM+FRC free nahin hota. Airtel, Voda etc ka tab hai jab uska SIM sabji mandi mein kilo ke bhav se bikta hai. Bahut jagah to bikta bhi nahin, bantata hai.

Here in kolkata they have set up extensive 3g bts so that one can get 3g service every nook & corner in the city. I’m happy with the way I’ve seen visible improvement of their 2g & 3g network. But they really have to work hard on west bengal sector where bsnl really sucks.

Right. BSNL added more subscribers in the month of December. BSNL decreased 3g price at affordable rate and it attracted lots of customers by offering good speed and good schemes in previous month. BSNL is still facing out of stocks of 3g modems in major cities. Customers have suffered a lot with old infrastructure of INDIA internet results into slow internet speed since 3g launched. Customers attacked on 3g to gain more downloads.

Browsing speed is slow because of high latency. So, it will require more time to connect to website server to transmit the data but in downloading, once you are connected to server. So, There will be constant data transmission is possible with some variation in speed due to variation in connection time. That is the big problem with recent 3g network.

BSNL can definitely make it, if the men at top inclusive ministers, really give the right kind of attention in all aspects. They are running the show with age old systems (that are technically obsolete) with which can inno way compete with the enterprises private players !This miserable failure has an eye opener – Even after getting preferential approval for 3g services, their presence in this girlf is far from satisfactory !
