India’s National Telecom Backbone Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL) slashed the price of its plug-n-play 3G USB Data card from Rs.1600 to Rs.1280 for its prospective customer in all telecom circles.
With the price reduction now BSNL’s 3.6 Mbps 3G Data Card (all models) will cost just Rs.1280 (Excl. of VAT) instead of Rs.1600. The 3G Data Card price reduction offer will be valid up to 30th November 2011.
BSNL 3G Data Card will enable anytime, anywhere instant High Speed wireless Internet connectivity across more than 1000 cities in India with speed up to 3.6 Mbps and 7.2 Mbps (depends on device) for laptops and other computing devices, thereby significantly benefiting business users, roamers and travelers.

Watse BSnl, trying to sale all of its useless 3G data cards for getting money.
BSNL 3g datacard not suported for EDGE/GSM/GPRS , supports only HSPA.

These is no extra roaming charge in BSNL. BSNL is best.

well, who is buying 3.6mbps modems now a days? I find many people buying either 7.2mbps or 21mbps modems…and bsnl 3.6mbps is for 1280rs ( excluding vat).
I purchased unlocked e1732 ( idea logo,7.2mbps dl,5.76 ul) for 1260rs from ebay.in using 10% off discount coupon.
quoted price 1400rs,just google it you can find coupons for mastercard, hdfc, icici bank customers

Dont Just sell Data card. Increase ur 3G network coverage.I got to My Nearest Telephone Exchange. I got a very astonishing information. I came to know that the exchange has got the 3G equipment 1 year back but they have not installed it as they have no time. The employees of BSNL r not active workers. So popularity of BSNL is going down and losing revenue .

why has bsnl reduced the price? its in huge loss na. like it increased the tariff, it should also increase the data card price. if increase in tariff is justifiable, then why reduce the price of data card. Why earn less money on data card and make more loss?

sirf data card ke daam kam hone se kuchh nahin na hoga………….data package ka price bhi kam hona chahiye…….3G abhi bhi bahat costly hai. unlimited to ek type se market mein hain hi nahin affordable rate me. user data use karega naki data card. or apna 3g ka coverage bhi badhana hoga bsnl ko. yahan odisha mein to thoda township se hile ki 3g ka network gayab.
