BSNL 2G STVs Now Compatible With 3G

India’s National telecom Backbone and 3G service provider Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL) today announced that its selected 2G Special tariff Vouchers (STVs) now can be used with any existing and new 3G prepaid mobile number in Tamilnadu and Chennai telecom circle.

According to BSNL Tamilnadu, 5 existing 2G Boosters/STVs are now allowed to be used by 3G prepaid Mobile customers (New and existing or migrated from 2G) of TN LSA (including CHTD).

BSNL 3G subscriber can enjoy Vinadi 1p/sec Plan (Pay Per Second Plan), All @ 49 Plan, Unlimited Local Calls On-net Plan-300 and Local Calls On-net 10p/min Plan by recharging respective STVs or  Boosters on their 3G prepaid number.

    100% Right, the Speed is pathetic these days specially in BSNLNET APN, where as when you use BSNLLIVE APN in 3G mobile Handset its too good avarage speed is 110KBPS, but any application will not work as use uses proxy.. Don’t know where to complain and when it’s going to work decently, they announced that they are upgrading their network to 14Mbps speed but it seems that it was a marketing Gimmick a complete lye.. How could a public limited Company which is directly related to Government can Make fool of it’s user… Can Any one help to Get this issue resolved or reply me the Concern Men handling the Department..

    Yes , its True Using Orignal Bsnl 3G Data CArd 1102rs/10gb plan but getting speed 18 to max 30kB/s it was abobe to 400kB/s a mth ago..

    In Chennai I’m getting 2.95Mbps download speed(331kbps) with BSNL 3G..

    i am again getting good speed after recharging my data pack on 19th April…….
    otherwise i was getting 18 20 kBps before 19th May

    very true..till February I was also getting 300-350KBps speed.. now just 40-60KBps speed ..

    bsnl should reduce the cost for their STV s of both 2G & 3G….

    now the lowest is of Rs. 36….
