Better V Can Go 4 VODAFONE, Instead Of AirTel. But I Hate Vodafone Due To Balance Deduction Otherwise it’s OK To Use. and I’D Like to Say The Experience With The Aircel Karnataka CC, Once i’ve Sent an E-MAIL TO NODAL OFFICER, APPELATE AUTHORITY AND CUSTOMER CARE REGARDING THE COVERAGE ISSUE ONE LADY NAMED GAYATRI CALLED ME UP ON DAY BEFORE YESTERDAY. AND SHE TOLD THE COVERAGE ISSUE WILL BE RESOLVED IN 4-5 MONTHS SO WE CAN GIVE SOME MORE TIME TO AIRCEL TO RESOLVE THE COVERAGE ISSUES IN KARNATAKA

how should we do callblock in airtel.
Mimansa March 5, 2010 at 5:48 pm
i blocked one unwanted caller who kept pestering me , found the service quite useful as i didn’t have an option in my phone to block a number, i think after a month of getting a busy tone no one will call again. And as the saying goes nothing comes for free.
Dipali February 14, 2010 at 12:42 pm
@Paresh
It’s not only the rate but also inconvenience. Why I should go each time and inform Airtel that I want to block/unblock a person. I prefer to have an app on my phone and I can do it with ease and pay only one time rather than every month. To my search, I found XBLOCKR which I am using for my HTC Touch, It is quite a relevant app especially for the Indian users who are bombarded with pesky calls.
Paresh January 5, 2010 at 7:23 am
The calrates of the callmanager skim is very high .As compare to other companys are giving in very low cost.
vineet November 18, 2009 at 11:00 pm
Dear All.
I have been using this servive for 7 months now and here is my observation.
1) I can control all my calls by putting myself once of few times in meeting /driving profile- the phone doesn’t ring for that time and i get alerts anyways to call back later.
2) last month I went to Dubai for 5 days and activated my roaming profile. I didn’t receive any calls ( only 30 calls were attemped which I know thru alerts ). I did the maths and reasled that I have saved atleast 4000rs by not picking eaxh and every call by saying ” i’ll call back or I am travelling ”
3) I saved myself another 1000 bucks when i realied i was driving and my driving profile was on .I got 4 calls during that period which I returned .
great way to manage lifestyle and yet be informed. Its a matter of habit guys. I found it much better value than Hello tunes which is crap.
The price is a bit high at 99 but i guess at rs 50 its a good product.
thanks /Vineet

No, Now the cost of Airtel Call manager is 30 or 50 rupees only per month.
Agnivo September 21, 2009 at 1:24 pm
It is beneficial to people who are bugged by some awkward regular calls, but 99/month is costly! It should have been Rs.5/number/month.

SriHari Prakash September 21, 2009 at 10:04 am
Am very much interested to subscribe in dis CM plan, but after hearing its cost…… am thinking….. The cost for dis service is high when compare to other operators here in Tamilnadu….. Don no y AIRTEL charges much?????
niyam bhushan August 23, 2009 at 7:46 pm
am using the service since four months in the delhi-NCR region, and airtel’s charges are rs 30 per month.
Joel Patricks July 16, 2009 at 2:41 pm
This is a very good service and impressive with SMS alert for the blocked call activity. But monthly rental is 99 in AP, which is bit expensive.
Ali July 9, 2009 at 12:12 am
Surely this service is excellent and its very user friendly……
I enjoyed it!!!!!!!!
anuj July 6, 2009 at 11:20 pm
Not sure about other circles but in maharashtra & goa, this service is available at Rs 30/month
TUSHAR July 6, 2009 at 12:15 pm
Also this services targets mostly high profile customers and corporates who knows the value of time independence than money…… as the aspected target market is less Rs 99 is quite accurate.
Duane July 6, 2009 at 11:48 am
@E m a d
>>services like this should be free for customers privacy
>>who can use it at Rs.99 per month its horrible than abuser
EMAD mobile companies make money from VAS … if they give it free then how will they make money to set up new towers, give cheaper calls/sms? Besides this is a NICHE PRODUCT and is not meant for the average RS 10 RECHARGE USER!!!
Suggest if people do not distribute their numbers freely to any Tom-Dick-Harry (TDH) then they will not be disturbed by any T-D-H.

Tarun July 5, 2009 at 8:58 pm
while activating Airtel cited this service will cost Rs 30 per month check the snap shot http://i42.tinypic.com/2mhxv1l.jpg when i was done with activation got an SMS from 52322399 quoting “You Have Subscribed to Airtel Call Manager Services & Have been charged Rs99
as monthly rent.Kindly Dial 52323 or dial *323#or SMS’CM’ to 52323 to start so from this i have ascertained that Airtel are cheaters
Airtel guys if you are reading this make sure you update the Site before some one make a quetch out of it
Duane July 5, 2009 at 8:43 pm
@E m a d
EMAD a better solution would be to install the NOKIA CALL FILTER which would allow one to blow calls @ a handset level, without any dependency on the GSM operator. Hence no charges -> just a one time investment, if you decide to purchse a legal copy!
E m a d July 5, 2009 at 8:37 pm
services like this should be free for customers privacy
who can use it at Rs.99 per month its horrible than abuser
E m a d July 5, 2009 at 8:22 pm
but this service cost Rs.99 per month damn expensive no use for this service other can call from another coin box how much number u block a very close solution is here abuse abusers and when they become headache report them to police dont spend Rs.99 per month penalty to airtel
Duane July 5, 2009 at 7:49 pm
This is not a new VAS – Vodafone launched its CALL FILTER last year @ Rs 99 per month, with very few takers.
Let us see how this VAS is received by customers as new options of PROFILES (Meeting, Driving or Roaming profile) were not there in VODAFONE.
PRICE OF AIRTEL CALL MANAGER – Rs 99 per month
