Dear Airtel….
Today i have inserted an Airtel Prepiad to my Blackberry 9220, i was told from the call centre to re charge for 399/- to avail unlimited Internet + downloading. after i recharged i get to know that 399 rs has gone to some other scheme rather than my main balance. hell with the IVRS you have created, it is just to increase the agony. and executives are short on information and are mis guiding on plans. Now they say that 399/- unlimited plan is only for Postpaid…… For prepiad it is 899/-( What the Hell 899/-) I’d rather go to Vodafone or Docomo….

Hi,
This is to inform u guys..that i am really not liking the kind of services provided by u people.
I am fighting since last three days to get my BB services activated on my phone.. as my work is getting hindered b’coz of this.. but i have not got any kind of positive response from Airtel. I have tried my best to reach u guys on customer service but all in vain.
Upon that my balance has been deducted as i took up 399 plan(BB4).
I am using this service from past few months.. there was no such problem earlier.
since yesterday i don’t know how many times my request has been accelerated to how many managers..!!!!
and it’s been more than 24 hours that m waiting to get my services activated
I request you to either start my services ASAP or refund back my 400 bucks.
I hope to get my request get processed ASAP.

I have tried calling Cust.C many times but there was no correct response from any of the executive regarding the BB services. Request the Airtel Owner to please guide the executives correctly so that better services could be given to the customers. this is really a matter of disappointment.

@Debashis
Oh for gods sake, get off your duff and do something about it, if it bothers you. Else stop with the whining and accept and enjoy it as part of your country’s pains, just as every country has its own.
Debashis November 30, 2010 at 12:16 am
Why is India Lagging in Blackberry Knowledge ? Every service providers have a Blackberry plan, starting from Airtel, Idea, BSNL ( The worst ) , MTNL , Vodafone. etc But none of the customer care executives are taught or detailed about the Plans or the facilities in Blackberry. When a IMAP or Blackberry enterprise server is termed in front of them ,, They drop from the sky or responds something else ( making a way they havnt heard of it properly )
I am tired of calling customers cares just to find out which provider gives a full access of Blackberry with Internet, Office mail and chat facility ..
This is ridiculous , when 30% of worlds web revenue flows in India.. the companies should make some training for these guys ( at least train them with someone who knows or have used Blackberry service )
I hate to state there are so many irresponsibility in MY COUNTRY and no body cares to let the common people educated for the money they are paying.
It seems we are proud to be on the top of poverty, terrorism, corruption and idiot-ism and hence we are cultivating the same with great interest.

Hello,
I have the BB1 plan that’s for 299… and eventhough i’ve added a lot of contacts within delhi, i can’t seem to add on contacts from the U.S. onto my Blackberry Messenger. Can anyone please explain why this may be? I’ve attempted to contact technical support several times and come across no answer, yet they continue to tell me that someone will get back to me w/in 24 hours with a reply… Someone please assist?
Thank you!

Anando October 10, 2009 at 5:48 pm
@hemakumar
On your blackberry, go onto options>advanced options>host routing table. click on register now. Then, go onto airtel.blackberry.com, sign in, and on the left side of the page go to help>send service book
Once you receive the service book on your BB, then switch of the phone, take out the battery, and leave it out for 10 – 20 seconds. Reinsert it, and hopefully your service should now be available.
If not, then there might be a problem with your OS. But try this, and let me know if it works.
Cheers,
hemakumar September 18, 2009 at 7:18 pm

Anuj August 31, 2009 at 9:24 pm
@Duane
Buddy, if you have a bit knowledge about whats going in telecom sector, you must know that this service has been already withdrawned from Munbai, M&G & Tamilnadu circles. Now for a temporary period, It shall be available for those only who were regularly using this service. But that too will be removed shortly I was not expecting that you dont have info about this. You can cross check it.
And you will get answer about what makes me so sure to say this through my other post which I already posted below that mchek thread. Whats more I would like to inform you guys that Airtel is in the process of launching monthly GPRS pack which will cost you around 99Rs/month with data limit of 100MB & validity of 30 days. Now this is the update from my trusted sources & you should have to belive in.
Duane August 31, 2009 at 8:49 pm
@Anuj
ANUJ what makes you so sure that AIRTEL IS WITHDRAWING UNLIMITED MOBILE OFFICE?
>>unfortunately Airtel Unlimited GPRS (mobile office) shall not be available in coming days.
Anuj August 31, 2009 at 8:37 pm
Buddy, unfortunately Airtel Unlimited GPRS (mobile office) shall not be available in coming days. Airtel is in the process to withdraw unlimited GPRS services. In most of the telecom circles, It has already been withdrawned.
Agnivo August 31, 2009 at 8:15 pm
Well, I meant that I use Airtel MO only when I travel. I’m into online biz, so laptop and net has to follow me even if I travel for a vacation for a few days. So on daily rental, mobile office suffices my needs with unlimited data transfer (I have even used 500MB one day, but that’s not the point). Well, I guess you cannot hookup the blackberry to a laptop and surf the net like mobile office.
What I have been looking for are alternatives to the MO from Airtel. It has to be daily/weekly rental prepaid plan. I know there are Reliance/TATA wireless broadband via USB dongles but the data allocation, plans, coverage & speed at remote places are not at all good.
I don’t wanna buy a dongle worth 3k, pay crappy monthly rental or something like that. Pay as I go for the days I need. Any suggestions?
Duane August 31, 2009 at 7:19 pm
@Agnivo
AGNIVO … Unlimited mail for Rs 299 (Rs 9.96*30) is for COMMON MAN.
You are paying Rs 1050(Rs35*10) – I think YOU are on the wrong plan!
Switch to UNLIMITED BLACKBERRY @ Rs 299 instead of MOBILE OFFICE @ Rs 1050 !
>>Only for busy executives with deep pocket for rental and handset. Anything for >>the common man? I find it extremely hard when I travel sometimes…have to use
>> Airtel Mobile Office on daily rental. (Rs.35/day for unlimited access)
