@hemant really no co. is giving so much of incentive to improve the sales to all levels except airtel..they want to show that they are NO 1..which will fetch good recognaisation in BANKS, TRAI ,DOT, POLITICIANS,for various reasons
selvam February 23, 2011 at 10:41 pm
@Manoj Abhigyan good joke friend ..it is to lay responsible on GOVT org since they couldn’t effectively collect they will show this agreement to TRAI and will escape from heavy penalty which wil b imposed by TRAI..No pvt operator will lay on GOVT co.with out a reason…

hemant October 19, 2010 at 8:03 pm
@ lee in your opinion all other operators having actual & verified sub base.
@ jitendra if a person using one id buying a no of sim & he is giving the sim to his friends who not belong to his state.then who is responsible operator or public.
Jitendra October 19, 2010 at 1:20 pm
Why such things happening only with Private operators??? Why subscribers need to submit documents oftenly after 6 months? Such things clearly showing that they are cheaters & they are not following rules of Indian telecom act. They are doing only business & they are not showing interest towards safety of our public, yet they are not understand the importance of the identity proof. In Mumbai most of the shopkeepers are in police custody only because they not maintain records of activated SIM cards by them.

Vodafone Essar, the third largest mobile service provider, launched a new tariff voucher in UP East on the pattern of Tata Indicom’s pay per second plan. Named as ‘Ek par ek free offer’ one can call ongoing second minute to local call absolutly free. This scheme is available on E-recharge of Rs.44 with a tariff validity of 30 days. Not only this one can call every ongoing 4th STD minute also free with this tariff voucher.
Is there any tariff like this in Airtel also? I think there should be as Vodafone is only a copy cat of Airtel.
Manoj Abhigyan October 19, 2010 at 8:35 am
That’s why Airtel is the market leader. Airtel thinks about the convenience of customer while others think about only reducing tariffs.

Good move, one more VAS from India Post
Stretching my imagination further, if India Post can create a database of people and their addresses under each post office jurisdiction, [may be even linked to UID database being created], India Post can offer all address verification related services – as one single agency, across the country
Good move by India Posts and Airtel for recognizing the value add potential by India Posts
