Beetel is better than few china co phones ….
Pratap Madgulkar August 18, 2011 at 12:11 pm
does that MSI has facility of GSM sim ????
Hafeez Luqman August 18, 2011 at 10:36 am
For your information, Android 2.2 is made for mobile phones and not for tablets. So features will be much less. It looks like a big size mobile phone instead of tablet with Android 2.2. Atleast Android 3.0 should be installed. Android 3.0 and above is for tablets. And also what about the RAM ? Atleast 1GB RAM is needed for tablets to run properly. 512MB RAM is already there in mobile phones. The best and cheapest tablet is MSI Enjoy Tablet costing Rs. 13,000.
Vikas August 18, 2011 at 9:57 am
yes u r right but max limit is 14 mbps so we can atleast expect up to that speed.
Rohan Singh August 18, 2011 at 6:28 am
Even 3.6 and 7.2 mbps is termed as HSDPA.
Vikas Patidar August 17, 2011 at 11:53 pm
Only 4999 ? In this price even Spice, Micromax, Intex etc are not able to give Android phones then how can we expect such huge display device in this range?
Pajat August 17, 2011 at 11:10 pm

som August 17, 2011 at 7:17 pm
the article does not mention–
1.whether the device is locked or not to airtel network?
2.whether the screen is resistive or capacitative?
Prosenjit August 17, 2011 at 7:08 pm
Nice move by beetel.
Pajat August 17, 2011 at 6:54 pm
Is it coming locked to Airtel? ?
novicefreak1 August 17, 2011 at 6:52 pm
Just one question!
Capacitive or Resistive?
dr viswanath August 17, 2011 at 6:51 pm
will it supports video calling
Vikas August 17, 2011 at 6:48 pm
They have mentioned HSDPA so i think it should support speed up to 14.4 Megabit/s
Vikas Patidar August 17, 2011 at 6:47 pm
They have mentioned HSDPA so i think it should support speed up to 14.4 Megabit/s
Deepa August 17, 2011 at 6:23 pm
At-least one good product from an Indian company, and as it is a tablet the screen is bound to be capacitive. ANYTIME BETTER THAN NOKIA.
Vikas August 17, 2011 at 5:51 pm
Hey, what about screen: resistive or capacitive??
TelecomTalk guys atleast try to figure out some essential features about such products.
MixMash August 17, 2011 at 5:48 pm
it is the rebranded version of huawei ideos s7. but the specs are good and at an affordable price. the best thing is that the front cam is also 2MP!
Vikas August 17, 2011 at 5:42 pm
Nice one a competetion is started among home grown makes for better products but without Honeycomb(Android 3.0) one can’t leverage the actual user experience of these tablets.
Ramkumar August 17, 2011 at 5:41 pm
Also, nothing mentioned about GPS – a big negative if it isn’t there even though the price is only 9999.
doc_dip August 17, 2011 at 5:25 pm
hope that on the back of this device we dont have to see bloody ‘made in china’ tag…its soo disgusting to see that tag
Ramkumar August 17, 2011 at 5:23 pm
This must be the response for Reliance’s tablet, which is built by ZTE.
9999/- looks attractive price, but one should also know the recurring commitments in terms of monthly charges after the free 2 month subscription period.
Also, The OS is 2.2, I would have liked to see 3.0 which is specifically for tablets.
Ganesh Srinivasan August 17, 2011 at 5:23 pm
Start of a new trend – affordable yet good spec tablets
Rohan Singh August 17, 2011 at 5:16 pm
So Reliance got a competitor. Is it coming locked to Airtel? ? They should have given gingerbread as they have 1Ghz of processor. And does it support 3G 7.2 or 14.4Mbps ??
Amit.G August 17, 2011 at 5:13 pm
Good one but i feel battery back up will be less.
