Asianet Dataline, a division of Asianet Satellite Communications Ltd, the largest Cable TV Network in Kerala and one of the top provider of affordable and fast Broadband in kerala has hiked its tariff recently.
Asianet has hiked almost 10% across all its plans but they have also added extra usage to all plans to substitute to the hike.
Their most famous plan Homenet 475 night unlimited (2am-8am) 4Mbps with 3GB has been revised to Xpress 520 4Mbps night unlimited + 4GB they are also offering 1GB extra for Rs 45 hike in this plan. But for plans above 520 there is no extra usage for the hike.
Asianet is offering 4Mbps speed limited broadband plans above Rs 275 in kerala for the last 3 years. Asianet always had competitive tariff with its rival BSNL while offering double speed.
Asianet is Kerala’s first triple play provider they also offer cable and internet telephony to subscribers. Recently they started offering “Combo Offer” for subscribers using their broadband and Digital TV.
The following reason was given by Asainet Dataline to its subscribers for the hike :
“We are forced to revise the plans due to increase in cost and levies and would be migrating you to the next level. However we are pleased to offer you additional benefits in most of the plans with this revision. The details of the plans are available in www.asianetbroadband.in. You have always played an integral part in the success story of Asianet Broadband and we are deeply obliged to you for the same. Looking forward to your esteemed support in the future too.”

BSNL now hiked their price drastically. ABB is now better, but getting a connection is very difficult now days. Minimum 6 days required to connect.
They have also introduced DOCSIS 3 modem in few places. Advantage: Possible to connect @100 Mbps through their new DOCSIS 3 modems . Stunning speed……..

Each place has its own gem.
AP has Beamtele which offere 10mbps, 15mbps and 20mbps unlimited for Rs 1020, Rs 1530 and Rs 2550. Also FUP 30Gb 2mbps, 40GB 4mbps and 60GB 6mbps.
This is considered the best BB plan in the county.

it would have been nice if Asianet Broadband would have been in AP too as i Heard in Kerala they are the best compared to BSNL in Kerala.

Also one more good thing was that Asianet Cable TV was FREE with Asianet Data Line connection(not officially) before they introduce Set top box n digital Tv

Asianet became worst nowadays. Speed is also not good. Bsnl and reliance is better than asianet broadband

yeh, This s true.. I’ve got email regarding the same !
I was getting 3GB per month for 2 n half years for Wow 250 plan !
I already availed extra data offer by paying for 2 years in advance. So they are not allowing me to avail the Combo offer comes with Digital Tv ! Need to closely analyze the plan change anyways .. I guess this hike won’t give much burden to users !
ADL is the best player in Kerala far far better than BSNL with its 99% uptime & 4 Mbps speed & 2 AM to 8 Am downloading FREE plans etc !
I was getting 525 Kbps download speed constant using their 4 Mbps plan.. Used to download 200 GB+ per month !
