Anushka Sharma is Reliance Communications New Brand Ambassador

Reliance Communications, India’s fully integrated telecommunications service provider, today roped in Anushka Sharma, the leading Bollywood actor as the company’s brand ambassador.

The new association will highlight the all-encompassing core value of the Group- bringing products to customers that fulfill their needs with unceasing affordability.

The campaign seeks to establish the superior network of Reliance Communications in both GSM and CDMA services. The two new television commercials with Anushka Sharma and Rannvijay (of Roadies fame) will highlight the greater benefits of the Unlimited Talk Time and Call Connect features of Reliance Communications.

The new TVCs takes slices of real life situations to convey the affordability of RCom products and their feature-rich benefits. The unlimited talktime TVC highlights unlimited onnet calls for Rs 299 per month in both CDMA and GSM services. Call Connect in one go focuses on the importance of connecting calls in one go.

Reliance Communications has signed four news TVCs out of which two will go on air very soon. It added that it expected to have a long term association with Anushka Sharma to promote RCom’s Superior Brand proposition to the general public.

A Brief about the 2 TVCs

Unlimited Talk Time: In this film both Anushka Sharma and Rannvijay are in the backseat of a car talking to their respective friends over the phone. They are evidently annoyed at each other but sadly stuck in the same cab on a rainy day on the way to a movie. They are both cribbing about each other to their friends when Rannvijay abruptly stops talking. She turns to him and says, “Kyon meri buraaiyan khatam ho gayee? Ohhhh! Talktimekhatam ho gaya. Mere network pe unlimited hai, teri buraiyon kitarah” and merrily continues her call.

Call Connect: This film starts with Rannvijay realizing that it’s his mom’s birthday and he picks up the phone to call and wish her. When Anushka reminds him that it’s not 12 yet, he says he wants to be the first to wish her. He is then seen struggling to get through, but because of his faulty network, even after multiple attempts he can’t get through.

    Reliance wrong balance cut karna bhool gaya hai lekin tera network mumbai ke Vasai aur Naigaon me kab sudrega .aur ek baat me aapko bata ta hu ki mere ghar k samne rcom gsm ka tower hai lekin network ka tikana nahi aur cdma ki toh baat hi rhene do 2 singal nahi toh 1 signal milta hai aur customer care ko toh call kare toh bichare busy rhete hai shamless! Aur reliance 3g me at the last 9mbps ki speed uss sey accha vodafone ya docomo.

    i agree that sms delivery report is slow sometimes especially in the GSM segment . in CDMA also it happens. But compared to CDMA,GSM is the worst i can say

    Just adding to what majority says about reliance.
    Their services are not less than a nightmare.
    wrong balance deduction, useless cc which hardly gets connected, many a times my sms got delivered to wrong numbers bcoz of their crap network.
    We dont get proper signals here in Agra City. both cdma and gsm hardly show two network bars.

    why is anushka sharma getting her name spoilt by associating with a fraud and cheater company like rcom. the whole world knows that rcom is famous for false vas deduction and cheating billing. now her name will also be spoilt along with rcom. so sad and pity for her.

    Ads are of no use if they continue with their worst network coverge,poor customer care and unwanted VAS activation.specially,in gsm segment,they are pathetic.

    Reliance network whether 3G or CDMA is not upto the mark in remote areas of the country, not a reliable service provider…at times within city limits too.
    Reliance is not transparent with its customers….Reliance believes in “Sabka paisa apna paisa”.

    From past 2 weeks im facing lot of problem wrt EDGE Connectivity in idea(2G). It takes 20sec to connect and most of the time i get a error message as UNABLE TO CONNECT on my web page. Most of the time Speed also gets stuck in 0 to 1kbps whic means zero speed. Does anybody who is using idea 2G network in bangalore or other parts of karnataka facing this issue? I have checked with different phone also but no change!!
