Airtel India, India’s largest mobile operator hammers down STD tariff by introducing a new Special tariff voucher for its subscribers of Kolkata circle.
Recently BSNL also reduced STD tariff on for its all landline subscribers to offer call to any BSNL landline number over the country at a most attractive rate of 80p/3min to Rs1.20/3minutes.
Airtel’s new STV is priced very well, when you recharge your Airtel no. with RC31 you can able to call any landline/mobile no. of any corner of India at Rs1.20 per every 3 minutes for a period of 30 days.
Update: Airtel further reduces the pack price, now by recharging Rs 16 you can call STD numbers at Rs 1.20 for 3 minutes for 30 days.

The SMS Recharge of Rs. 80 in Kolkata Circle but its 47 in WestBengal Circle.Its not fair,should be same at any where in WestBengal Atleast.

dear but the problem is that relience have withdrawn that plan now its Rs1.2/3min and thats not attractive any more i m using relience GSM due to its sms only otherwise i would have ported out of that

In TN its .25 paisa offer is not available. and also the network is not available in most part of TN. only in towns and highways it is available

Airtel undoubtedly has the best network in many parts of India but it is the most expensive service in market.Even if u recharge for 100 rs u get talktime of only 85 rs and 15 night minutes(A-A).It must be kept in view that there is almost no termination charge and whenever u cal 2 any number of same operator in same circle,then all the deducted balance of your is equal to net profit of company.

ya, idea has the best plan.. Here in west bengal idea offer all local+std just@40p/min.. Idea also provide low recharge full talktime @rs 10, 18, 35 , 65 , 111 etc .. Rs 10 and 180 promo balance and others in main balance.. I just recharge today with rs35.. Cool…

Did any one noticed the conceit ways that ares being adopted by the all the service providers for extracting more money than what is stated ? The monthly recurring deductions from your credit balances against the VAS are more amenable to this kinds of fraud. Standard PHYSICAL vouchers are ok or even recurring e-charges too are ok. But any deductions from your accrued credit balance is a clear cheating ! They say a monthly charge of Re.31, 52,66, 88, etc. for a particular VAS but in reality it is not Rs.31, actually the amount in your credit is the amount after you pay taxes. So for a recharge with Rs.50/- what you get is roughly Rs.44 or so. BEWARE, keep this mind and think twice before subscribing any automated renewals. This is only an advice ! Choice is yours !

oh! finally Airtel changing its tariffs, these guys so rigid that they never changed their tariffs almost from last 1.5 years
These guys have worst postpaid plans that we lose atleast 700 rs to 900 for month as post paid bill.
