wat is wrong with AIRTEL, i was using airtel,s NOP or MO for 5 years, But for last one year or so have stopped using it. why ? I t was the best sevice available, but now AIRCELL or DOCOMO is doing a decent job, These AIRTEL wala,s take their customer for granted. FOR now i m using a BSNL connection , it has the BEST GPRS speed. and conectivity.

alamgir :It would be better if they had improved their EDGE speed rather than just the settings. After all people spend time in using the service rather than setting up.

    I Agree.

Airtel EDGE Speed is like slow GPRS at my location.

When I tried to use MNP against Airtel some time back as I only want Airtel 3G,they told me to hold on saying they’ll soon have 3G in Punjab region.

I think Airtel 3G is not starting in Punjab circle in the near future .Moreover, they dont have any spectrum for 3G in Punjab. Also there is no chance of getting good EDGE speeds on Airtel even despite the “E” symbol on the mobile.

    I am stuck !

    Here i can say…
Learn something from bsnl and mtnl where configuring your mobile is just a matter of an sms or few clicks on their website(bsnl)

What is so great about informing settings manually on a website?
Most (if not all) operators have similar steps on their respective websites !!
