Airtel (Kolkata) Brings New Tariff For Call And SmsBharti Airtel in order to provide more convenience of talking  circle has brought out a new tariff in Kolkata circle where customers will enjoy low rates to both on-net as well as off-net calls.

Airtel has devised a very low tariff pack comprising an affordable tariff to talk on-net at just 25p/min for 19 hrs a day starting from 11pm-6pm the next day.

Dubbed in as RC 12 customers have to recharge with Rs.12 and can enjoy Local A2A calls @ 25p/min (11pm-6pm the next day) and 50p/m (6pm-11pm the same day) and Local A2O @ 50p/min.

STD calls to all phones will be charges at 50p/min. SMS charges are as per normal default tariff. The pack is valid for 30 days and is available for only per min customers.

Validity – 30 days.

In another bid to reduce SMS charges for Its Kolkata customers Airtel has now reduced the price of its Unlimited SMS pack from previously Rs.33 to now Rs.26 which will allow customers send SMSes to all Local and National numbers for 10 days with a Fair Usage Policy of 300 SMSes per day.

    Yes it is possible to unlock a CDMA handset

    unlocking is nothign but finding the orginal firmware and flashing the mobile,., as of ur case if u find the correct firmware u can go on with flashing

    This is not a good plan at all. When the call rates between all local numbers will be decreased (eg. Idea has a plan for all local calls at 40p/min) that time only the customers will be benefited.

    Why to 700 bucks on a handset,, buy a cheap cdma handset and unlock it for 50 rupees,, and use it freely with rim,mts,tata,virgin,, i have done that too,, i use mts for calls,, and rim for cheap sms pack and night calling,, isn’t it a great idea…. :)

    Mts is better option 1ps/2sec for all local calls for 24hrs a day and for 365days. Just to invest rs.700 to 1000 for an cdma handset with scheme for one year and network of mts is alsn nice.
