It is not working for me in Nokia 2730c. It throws some bloody message when i try to activate it.
It says
“OBS:This is a new service operation so you need to specify a message here in your own language”
Amit.G July 8, 2010 at 7:42 pm
@ARJUN.C
Buddy now i dont find any new towns covered by Aircel from past 45days, may be its Bcos of govt ban on procuring equipments from chinese companies
Harpreet Singh Chadha July 8, 2010 at 11:27 am
50 MB is not quite sufficient for serious work. Obviously not enough for entertainment, download mp3 etc.
ARJUN.C July 8, 2010 at 11:05 am
AIRTEL IS JUST HALE PATRE, HALE KABBINA, HALE PAPER SERVICE I.E. USELESS MOBILE SERVICE
MaNoJ July 8, 2010 at 10:10 am
Better only Mobile.
If you use it on PC you never find when you used 50 MB.
ARJUN.C July 8, 2010 at 7:15 am

BEST IS TO USE NOKIA 2700 CLASSIC FOR INTERNET BROWSING. I THINK AIRCEL HAS UPGRADED IT’S NET SPEED BECAUSE OF 3G SERVICES
Micky July 8, 2010 at 3:13 am
Any thing else to say.no i think the victor is do the new.
Micky July 8, 2010 at 3:11 am

Micky July 8, 2010 at 3:06 am

Raghu July 7, 2010 at 11:56 pm

Amit.G July 7, 2010 at 10:38 pm
@ARJUN.C
Now new operators have stopped expansion process Bcos of ban on procurement of chinese equipments, once it is cleared they ll start again
venky July 7, 2010 at 10:20 pm
if it comes to gprs speed and service the clear winner is tata docomo i have no clue how come they produce good speed we had to give credit to tata of giving good service, i have lived in uk , even there speed sucks a lot because of their population tower availbility is very less and speed is too low even in 3g. The famous tube station in london the signal is very poor , vodafone is only operator give service there all station. Today i have completed speed test for all operators and docomo gives good speed in edge compatible phones and every other operators sucks at edge connectivity .Second best gprs service is vodapone and worst is uninor.
I dont know about rural areas , but in city tata is a trusted operator i fully appreciate what they are trying to do.
for example
they have improved their network in my city chennai and which was really bad two months back
karnataka receives the best services of docomo and indicom
i dont abt a.p
i think kerala are also have good service from docomo
next they will improve service in remaining circles . Still lot to improve in tariff in terms of broadband in india. This comparison should be valid because i am going to compare uk a well developed vs india still developing country
i have paid just 10pounds /month( 750rs) for 8mbs speed broadband(unlimited) where here in india we have to pay 3000-4000 , for rs800 we get only 500kbps which is not really good speed. I have read a news about high speed broadband development in uk they are already completed half of the work in high speed broadband which have a speed of 150mbs , and virgin broaband is alrady giving speed up 64mps with a affordable price.
BSNL LOT TO LEARN FROM BRITISH TELECOM WHICH IS A KING OF ALL BROADBAND
ARJUN.C July 7, 2010 at 10:07 pm
CAN YOU TELL ME NOW HOW MUCH AREAS DOES AIRCEL COVERS RIGHT NOW IN KARNATAKA?

Shoeb July 7, 2010 at 9:48 pm

ARJUN.C July 7, 2010 at 9:29 pm

ARJUN.C July 7, 2010 at 9:26 pm
@Amit.G
What’s About Aircel?
Amit.G July 7, 2010 at 9:05 pm
@Raghu
Uninor is good in places they cover,Good connectivity & fast messege delivery.They have again started Network upgradation work here. only drawback is lack of coverage in villages.
AKS July 7, 2010 at 8:56 pm
@Prateek
Access point for Reliance GSM is rcomnet. B4 that recharge with data packs 5/51 rs to avoid disappointment as they charge 2 Rs/MB.
Ajay rao July 7, 2010 at 8:56 pm
Just wait to launch MNP, there is going to be lot of offers by socaled big operator.
Raghu July 7, 2010 at 8:51 pm
@ARJUN C
how is uninor in your area
al33m July 7, 2010 at 8:45 pm
@prateek, reliance customer care is of no help they dont even about their own product and offers..
The access point to connect to pc is
rcomnet
ARJUN.C July 7, 2010 at 8:33 pm
IF MOBILE NUMBER PORTABILITY ARRIVES THEN IT IS SURE AIRTEL FALLS, AIRCEL AND DOCOMO GETS HIGHEST NUMBER OF SUBSCRIBERS AND COVERAGE WILL BE IMPROVED SOON
prateek July 7, 2010 at 8:04 pm
@al33m

ARJUN.C July 7, 2010 at 7:59 pm
ONE THING IS SURE AIRTEL WILL FAIL BECAUSE OF TOWER PROBLEMS, EGOIST CUSTOMER CARE PEOPLE, IRRESPONSIBLE NODAL OFFICERS AND APPELATE AUTHORITIES, GPRS SERVICE PROBLEMS, BILLING PROBLEMS,COPYING THE OFFERS FROM OTHER COMPANIES LIKE AIRCEL, DOCOMO
ARJUN.C July 7, 2010 at 7:41 pm
AIRCEL GIVES GOOD SPEEDS ON MY MOBILE AND AS WELL AS ON MY 64 BIT COMPUTER
al33m July 7, 2010 at 7:13 pm
Good offer similar to that of reliance and docomo but airtel’s gprs/edge is poor, very slow compared to that of reliance..
I was an airtel customer once and used airtel gprs but due to slow gprs speed i switched on to reliance..Airtel must work on improving the network.
Anirban July 7, 2010 at 7:04 pm
@Tarun PK
Yes sir…Airtel, Vodafone, Reliance, BSNL all gives good speed when connected to pc.
But in Aircel PI to slow.
I m using Reliance & BSNL.
anandh July 7, 2010 at 6:59 pm
In tamilnadu, this offer is available in june and for some peoples are getting 2 days validity as promotional offer but from july 1 validity reduced to one day.
Tarun PK July 7, 2010 at 6:51 pm
@epynic
Google http://code.google.com/speed/public-dns/ is also offering Public DNS service which will help you to improve browsing speed.
When a url request is made, your request is transferred to what is determined to be the closest DNS server based on your IP address.
DNS servers just act as cache a larger cache means that they can store more domain names instead of having to query the default ISP dns server after a url req has been bumped.
Jitendra Indave July 7, 2010 at 6:43 pm
