WEll this Plan is just to fool rich folks and Brand crazy guys. Its only fruitful if u are getting Iphone with lesser upfront payment. like say 10k or so , 30 k is dumb idea rather Go for new samsung Galaxy 4g , 32 k and fastest phone in india as of now, with D-core processor and amoled display , its best for 3o k spend. and best u r not bound to any Cheat Operator,

Both Aircel and Airel are going to rip off the Indian public of around 80K +… please realise… first you pay 40k.. and then you end up paying another 40k over a period of two years. Whats the use. RIP OFF is the word… Please dont fall for it… We indians are smart.. Dont prove them Wrong. Cheers

Apple is just a fake thing, nothing more than that.it does not provide basic features like flash support, bluetooth file sharing. You pay a bomb of 30k+ and you get a speed handling capacity of just 3.6 mbps on iphone 3gs and 7.2mbps on iphone 4.what is the use of paying a bomb just for music?and compared to that at sane price u r getting 21mbps hspa+ 4g phone in galaxy s2.It is truely a future phone which has set new standards in smartphone making. And even if we dont have iphone, who cares.

and samsung gs2 is much better than iphone!

Use it once in ur entire life its no 1 trusted brand. Apple is apple they start others just follow. When apple launched it’s iPhone others bought their similar products to encounter. If u don’t have an iPhone well then u don’t have an iPhone.

India is the dump market for apple. A phone which was launched one year earlier all around the world is coming here when the rest of the world will soon have iphone5 or 4s or whatever. This is just a desperate move by operators who would have already taken stock of the device to sell it now. Anyhow iphone4 in addition to all its limitations is far behind smartphones today. Slow processor not dual-core, limited memory, small display, limited number of free apps .. who are you kidding !!

“Anyhow iphone4 in addition to all its limitations is far behind smartphones today.”. I wonder how Apple iPhone 4s are selling in millions even today if you think they are ‘far’ behind in terms of features. It has more free-apps than you can imagine and not being dual core does not make it any slower. It is still way faster than majority of the android phones out there in the market. Better try out gadgets before you say false things about them.

Why dont they follow the plans in US or UK. If I pay for the entire phone cost then why would i remained tied-up with one service provider?

If you guys remember when BlackBerry came to India in year 2005/6, that time BB’s cost was around 40K and now you will get BB at 10K.
So wait within year possible that IPhone will available at 10 to 15K.
Once the sale of IPhone gets saturate at 40K cost, then they will reduce the cost and time comes when we will get IPhone at 10K.
At present Samsung Galaxy 2 is the best option.

At still less price you can get samsung galaxy 2 which is far better in every issue when compared to iphone 4 and itunes is not free a one to download songs.. and apps also should be bought … if you want to use other apps you need to crack the os.. what the hell is this… after paying that much money… still many issues…. I prefer android os mobile.. apps are available at free of cost.. no issues with them too

    MicroSIM card support only
No Flash support in the web browser
No true multitasking for all applications

No file transfer over Bluetooth or USB Mass Storage mode

Have been hearing lots of news about iPhone4. Sharing some eyeopeners.

iPhone only supports microSIM which means you need to struggle to get this sim in India as it is not easily available on all outlets
Internet browser does not have full flash support so your internet experience is gone for a toss for atleast 70% to 75% of games & videos on mobile
No Bluetooth file transfer – one would not be able to share songs, pictures or ringtones with friends
To create new documents one needs to buy full office version, however you can view office files
Just 5 megapixel camera when we already have 8 to 12 megapixel camera phone available in market
Not yet launched in India however the price would hover around 35K to 40K seeing the past trends.

Good alternate options are Nokia E7 @26K, Sony Eri. Experia@28k HTC Desire@ 27K.

Wats the use of buying a phone whos real cost is 199$ ( 10-12k) for 35000 & upon that pay 453rs/month for such a useless offer. Airtel is promoting as if it is offering 2GB/month 3G data. Not even crossed 1GB. Useless!!!

One can anyway get an iPhone 4 for those prices(or cheaper now since it’s officially launched) from the gray market and then recharge with values of our own choice and needs. Seriously, these Airtel and Aircel operators are looting customers in broad daylight. They are in no way subsidizing the phone cost as it’s done in other countries.
