Airtel has come up with first of its kind innovative mobile app named as ‘my airtel’ app for Airtel customers in India.
My airtel app will allow Airtel customers across various services (mobile, fixed line, dth etc) to check their outstanding bills, recharge their accounts, make payment, activate deactivate any service; raise requests-complaints, at just a click of a button across.
Further, using this, Airtel digital TV customers can also order movies and games, without any assistance from the customer care. Customers can download the application by simply logging into airtel.in/myairtel or visiting their device app store. Alternatively, they can also SMS ‘myairtel’ to 54321.
The usual download charges depending on the subscriber data connection will apply for downloading the application as well as accessing the application.
For non-airtel internet users, there will also be one time SMS charge for authentication to their respective telecom operators.

They have completely forgot to put exit option in the app. One small disgustion.
@Airtel_Presence Please look into this matter. There is no EXIT option in the app provided. Please release an updated version of the app with faults repaired. Thank you.

They should offer web based accounts for self management for both prepaid and postpaid users for all mobile service providers, also with the feature of auto recharge for prepaid and auto bill payment for postpaid users, where the money can be directly deducted from the bank account once the accounts have been linked and given permission.. Waiting for similar move by reliance.
